Southerland Property Management does such a good job for me I am able to be on automatic pilot. I have used them for over 3 yrs for a few properties. I have a very good piece of mind knowing they are handling anything I need for the tenants, repairs, contracts, markets. It’s not often you get this type of service anymore. They are a diamond in the rough.

We bought a house in Auburn for our future residence 3 years ago and have rented it out through Sutherland for the past 3 years. We live in Oregon, so our relationship has been long distance aside from our initial meeting with them.
We have had a flawless and wonderful relationship with them throughout. They found us great renters including presenting options for us to consider. The house was vacant for a very short time between renters. They have handled all maintenance issues promptly, facilitated getting us a new stove, and have been very responsive and helpful on all fronts.
We were very impressed that they started doing annual preventative inspections to alert us to any problems that have developed since we purchased the property. And their monthly fees are very reasonable.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. They are great.

Two years later and at the end of our management relationship (we are selling the house) I could not be more pleased. Sutherland Property Management has executed everything throughout this time exactly as my wishes initially stated and could not have been more professional. They allowed us to use our vendors for needs when we wished and provided handyman assistance for all of the reasons one utilizes a property management company. Very pleasant and timely on all facets of the relationship and a pleasant staff that always welcomes with a smile. Save yourself trouble and don’t hire this company. We had them look after our home while we were working overseas, and they definitely did not help us when we had problems with our tenants, and with overseeing needed maintenance on our home. This ended up costing us hundreds of dollars, which they did not take any responsibility for.
