The Little Farm at Windwater

I came here last weekend for a birthday party. It was awesome. Farmer Bob and Lynn were lovely and accommodating to all the kids who wanted to feed and pet the animals. The pony rides were the best. Even my almost one year got to ride with his sister and he loved it. There is a little stream at the edge of the property where the kids can splash and make mud soup.

I cannot give The Little Farm high enough praise.
I just had my 2 year old daughter’s birthday party here, and it was perfect, even in the 40 degree weather. And the owners Lynn and Bob are the nicest people you could hope to meet and spend the day with. They really made the party flow smoothly.
The animals are so lovely, and friendly. Especially Dolly and Blue! We had around 16 kids ranging in age from 11 months to 14 years old and they all had a great time and we’re able to participate in feeding/​riding/​holding the animals.
The cost for this location for a birthday party is a bargain. We felt like we were under paying by the end.
I don’t know if we’ll ever top this one. And I have a feeling we’ll be back.

We had our daughters 3^rd birthday here and it was so fun. I wish they had public openings to visit. For now we just have to wait for parties etc.

As my first time to this farm in support of my step-daughter’s 7^th birthday, I was impressed from the moment we got there. The hostess came out to great us at our car and even helped carry some of the party items we had to get setup for her party. Shortly there after we met her husband and co-​host and from that point forward, they were both non-​stop attentive and extremely accommodating. Both where genuinely kind and very good with all of the kids.
I would highly recommend The Little Farm and Windwater as a venue for kids parties (for ages 5−7÷8) but would recommend that you plan it on a sunny day. Playing, feeding, and horse rides are what it’s about and I am not to sure how pleasant it would be in the rain.
Last but not least, they will clean up after you :) (not that we left the place a mess)

We ended up running into Lynn and her hubby at our Local Home Depot buying flowers 3 or 4 months ago and she remembered us and even remembered Gage by name!!! Sweet people to go with their great venue! Can’t wait to plan another party at the Little Farm at Windwater!

We had my daughter’s 6^th birthday party here and LOVED IT! Bob and Lynn are SOOO nice and accommodating, the kids had a blast feeding and petting the animals, and running wild. The facilities are great for cake and gift-​opening, and even barbecuing. Their fees are waaaay less than many other places I’ve been, and I feel they had the best set-​up for kids parties. All of our guests commented on how great it was, and we definitely plan on having more parties here. So happy with everything!!!

Wow, I wonder why all of the 5 star reviews don’t show up unless you unfilter it… hmmm.
I have been to this farm at least 15 times with mom’s groups, play dates and just yesterday our twin daughters 6 year old party.
I have done the farm with twin babies and a 2 year old and have never had any problems with poop, or the animals. I have never seen the pig be aggressive even when kids were throwing grass at it.
We had at least 60 guests at the party and every person that hadn’t been here before kept asking how we found such a jewel. It was one of the few farms that let the kids do many things, hold the bunnies, ride the horses, feed the animals, run like banshees, look for baby frogs in the stream and pet the local animals (cats, birds, etc). The kids were so excited and most of the parents could take a quick break, take pictures of the kids enjoying the animals or share in any of the activities.
Farmers Lynn and Bob, had all of the tables set, the grill ready, ez ups set up because of the rain and more. I would give it more stars if I could!!!
The girls are still talking about it, pictures turned out fantastic and everyone thought the party was a great success!

The animals looked Mangy and the was poop everywhere, it would be great if it were cleaned up or had hay on top of it. They are only open to the public once a month, they could make an effort to shovel the poop. There was so much rabbit poo, my son fell twice and ate it. It was spilling over, it was so bad, the water for the animals is to close to the fence, so of course he had to play it that too. I understand its a working farm and animals poop, but it was bad. OMG I was not happy, maybe if he were older but having a toddler trott arround, with poop everywhere and he wants to get into everything… Is not a fun time. Rubber boots and change of clothes are advised. Also the geese and pig bites, the tabby cat sctratched my friends kid, (who doesn’t walk and was just sitting on the ground minding her own business.)
