Large campground outside Auburn, Alabama city limits. Nearby railroad tracks cause train noise but only about six times a day. Interior roads are gravel. Entry road is asphalt. Campsites are on grass or gravel and are mostly level. Hookups are poorly placed but work well. No picnic tables or fire rings. Rate is $ 45 daily during football season which is overpriced except during football game weekends. We would not return.

My family has a travel trailer. I tend to use it sparingly, because decent spots are hard to find. In fact, I’m generally unhappy unless I’m somewhat secluded. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a people person, but I don’t always want to socialize while trying to relax by a fire. As we all know, it’s hard to have the luxury of seclusion with all of the other luxuries of an RV park(power, water, etc.). In steps University Station. Each RV has its on spot that is surrounded by a nice little yard, usually with trees, and never touching the next door neighbor. Don’t worry, when you need to borrow eggs, they’re only a stones throw away. You can even build decks, plant gardens, and set up full scale tailgating sanctuaries if you wish. It’s honestly a football fans nirvana. Not just for Auburn fans either. Visiting teams fans stay here each weekend and everyone pats each other on the back. In fact, we’ve got a Georgia fan right next door and he hasn’t tried to set our trailer on fire once! Free transportation is provided from the park to the stadium and back on gamedays and there is a general store at the entrance of the park. I’m not sure what else you could ask for.
