Waffle House

This was ACTUALLY the worst experience in ANY restaurant I EVER had the pleasure of visiting. If you are craving some late night breakfast food head on down the road to the local IHOP because SURELY the service is not as bad as it is at this establishment.
First, I ordered a chocolate chip waffle, which was excellent BTW. Second, I ordered smothered and covered hash brownies. Upon the arrival of the food to my table I quickly realized that I had smothered and DICED hashes. If I had wanted tomatoes I would have ordered them! C’mon WH surely you are smart enough to throw some cheese on top of those brown dogs.
Next up in our Waffle House adventure we desperately needed some H2O due to the fact we had just cheered our Auburn Tigers on to a 9 – 17 loss to the Bulldogs (which can be entirely blamed on this Waffle House). After asking MULTIPLE times we received a very dirty nasty cup of water. Had to send that one right on back.
Currently waiting on the check. It may never come.
At least the coffee was good.

I visited waffle house in Auburn, Alabama across the st from the Village mall. These restaurants are everywhere so we were curious about how good they were. I ordered breakfast. Bacon, ham and cheese omelet, toast, and hash browns. I love that I can order my hash browns exactly how I want them. In california they dont really give you options for how your hash browns should be prepared. I only asked that they add onions to mine. which they did and they were delicious. There were many other options though. This leads me to believe that everything is really made fresh to order. which was a nice surprise. My brother ordered a steak, i regret that i did not get to taste it after he offered. When he finished he said he was very surprised that it was the best steak he had ever eaten. It seems like such a simple place but the food is good.

This place is much improved from my last visit. Courteous staff, clean, and everyone was pretty nice. It’s Waffle House so you know what you are getting and it’s open 24-​hours all year long!

This Waffle House holds no worth at all. The other one in town at least has the fact that it’s next to the War Eagle Supper Club going for it. This place isn’t next to bars, so it’s not useful for people to try to go afterward for some really bad greasy food. And it’s not near campus, so it loses that appeal.
There’s absolutely no reason to visit this one, here.
