Great brewery! It is located in a neighborhood in a garage. They only have a one barrel brewing system but they had like 5 different beers on tap. I had the jalapeño blonde which was so good and wasn’t overpowered by the jalapeño flavor. I also had a regular blonde which was also good. The space is small but they also have a covered outdoor space in front of the garage. The people here are really friendly from the people working behind the bar to the actual beer drinkers. I liked this brewery a lot!

Really good beer, and a good atmosphere(it’s in Billy’s garage) I’m sure it’s raised the property values having a brewery in your neighborhood! There’s no food but they have popcorn, peanuts, and other bar snacks. Make sure you try the jalapeño beer, it’s tasty!

Where to start. If it wasnt for Unilocal I would of never of found it. The Beers are great. The Owners dad was the Brewery Master on the Roster for that day. I showed up right after they opened. Hes great to talk to, and the beers are delicious. And then other patrons showed up. Im a friendly person and we had a great conversation. Plus Drinking beer in a Driveway how bad@ss is that? The Apple Porter was honestly my favorite.

Great beer. Yes, everyone one of them. Really cool, relaxing atmosphere with something for all. My favorite is the Brown but the IPA is a close second. Billy is a great brewer and super knowledgeable. Good place to relax or get a growler to go. He also has root beer for the kids.

So this place is like no other. Atmosphere is really relaxing and enjoyable it is more of a personal atmosphere. Is like cheers were everybody knows your name. The beer is pretty good I really like there potter and there bourbon stout but all the beers have a good taste to them even the strawberry ale. The jalapeño has a jalapeño taste to it but no kick to it or spiciness to it I really like it. Now the place seems small but with the beer garden in the back its alright. The beer tender is Jack A. Billy is his name he is the owner and the beer tender plus the brewer. And he always makes sure you have a beer on your hands and that you are having fun. Thanks Bill.

Love this spot nice signs leading you up to it then a big neon open sign in the window since it’s a house it’s nice to see the sign since you might not be sure there’s Actually a brewery there. Loved the vibe it’s like the bar you hope to find nice conversation great atmosphere and nice to see the operation all around you as you sit down and enjoy an amazing!!! Flight I’ve been to a few places now and this flight is topping them out the variety the amount of samples and the pour ;) myself and my husband enjoyed it and left feeling quite nice and a full growler of an iPa. Great place to try out if you really like beer and breweries.

This is one of those bootstrap success stories that are becoming more and more common in Washington state brewing. This guy for years was a homebrewer for fun, with a day job well outside the beer industry. He still has the day job, but he has ratcheted up his brewing capacity now because he’s turned his homebrew operation into a commercial nanobrewery. He’s running it out of his garage, but it’s a very complete operation. It’s just tiny. You’re in a residential neighborhood in Auburn, surrounded on every side for a couple blocks by small houses from around WW2 vintage, maybe a bit after. There’s some street parking, and you walk up the driveway and around the corner to a small human-sized door. Inside, there are half a dozen stools along a little bar, with fridges behind, supplies stacked in corners, and some cool brewing equipment by the window. There’s a small but very functional restroom in the back. He’s added lighting, signage, coasters, all kinds of stuff to bring the taproom functionality up to speed all the way. He even takes credit cards. The beers are solid, with a big emphasis on anglo ale styles – IPAs, porters, stouts, and so on. He is starting to experiment occasionally with a Belgian here and there, and even has a couple of local bourbon barrels ready to take a beer. The Parliament distillery farther down the valley provided the barrels. That’s such a cool thing to see: very local breweries working with very local distilleries. Overall, he’s making some solid beer and he’s an incredible fun barman to hang out and chat with while you sample the wares. For us, 7 samples ran a little over $ 14. A couple of them were strong enough that this ended up being a pretty good serving. The beers are definitely worth a stop and a sample if you’re in the area.

Billy was nice enough to give me a deal on some goodies for a charitable auction. The new swivel top bottles they are carrying are really cool and refillable. The beer is great, I usually go for the Amber or the Porter, but you should just go and try them all!

Auburn’s first brewery has a great small town atmosphere and the best beer in town! My favorites are currently the Black River Porter and the Ry(ff)e Lakes IPA!
