Good, not great. I guess I was expecting a little better based on the previous reviews.
They use real mesquite wood which is very cool. The spicy chicken plate (half chicken with sides $ 8.99) was good but the sauce on top was a bit more like a mole.
I have no problem with dive /​hole in the wall places, but this was pretty dirty inside even for that type of place.
The tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas were all very good, however the salsa bar was lacking and not replenished. The waitress looked pretty overwhelmed as she was working solo.
All in I would definitely go back but would say it’s a much better take out place than for sit down.

Hands down, the best chicken I’ve had in awhile. You’re given huge portions, and the prices are low. The employees are so lovely. I will be back again.

Best Pollo Asado in long time. Good to try non chain business. The chicken was just perfectly cooked not dry and good seasoning, the ½ chicken comes with rice beans tortilla salsa and onions, big portion for the price.
The place is just a home converted to restaurant so don’t expect nothing fancy. But food is authentic and nothing better than a good charbroiled chicken.

A little intimidating at first because I’m not Hispanic and I felt like I was intruding for all of 3 seconds but everyone was super warm and inviting. The food was fantastic, I had a burrito, my daughters shared beans, my husband had a quesadilla. Everything was wonderful! No high chair but they said they’ve ordered them. Also, the tea isn’t brewed which was a bummer for me, but not enough to take away a star. The chicken is a dream. Seriously. Get the chicken. The dining room wasn’t very cool but I think that’s because the door to the kitchen is often open which makes it smell AMAZING. Chicken is grilled over wood, yall, it’s amazing. You need this in your life.

This place is great! Authentic Latin cooking. Friendly family run. Loved it. Highly recommend it. You walk in through the kitchen where they are cooking. I love a great whole in the wall, this is definitely one of them!
Highly recommend this place. Very affordable and you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.

Small family run place with a mix of Cuban Mexican food. Don’t be turned off by the looks from it cause it looks like a dive. You enter the restaurant though the kitchen. Watch out for that hot pan! Overall great food, great service I’d go back!

Off the chain Chicken… Just like home back in Texas, cooked over charcoal and wood give that incredible depth of flavor! Great prices and a great staff. It’s not fancy but oh so good! The Mexican food is very good as well. I have eaten there at least five times and it’s always perfect!!!

Best charcoal chicken I have ever try.
All the chickens are grilled on a bed of charcoals and smoked to perfection…
Small place but its going to be a hit… Owner plans to expand to eat-in…currently the food is served via drive thru and take out.
Keep checking status.
