Avant Williams Barber-Salon, Massage, & Spa

We’ve been looking at places around Augusta to get my son’s and husbands hair cut. They are both really picky, but they were definitely happy with the cuts they got! Thank you guys for making my two boys happy! :)

James was professional and did a great job on my classic side part haircut. I will definitely be back!

Worst hair cut I have ever gotten. Save the time and money and go someplace with nicer people who know what they are doing.

This place definitely set the standard for professional, fast and courteous service. I was in need of a massage and due to a cancellation they took me immediately. The owner and staff made me feel like I was the most important person ever. I loved it. It’s perfect for one stop beauty stop … salon, nails and massage. Total relaxation. I booked a follow-​up appointment before i left ;) The appearance of the place was impeccable. If more businesses were ran like this they’d have business lines down the street! This place is a hidden gem, don’t miss out

Excellent service. Always very courteous and professional. Salon is very modern and up to date. Friendly staff and owner who are always willing and able to serve the custom. Ooohhh and they are fast too!!!

First, they give military discounts! 2^nd the place was well put together; the ambience was clean, calm, and sophisticated, not filled with loud music and a bunch of pants on the grounds (POTGs). The music was played at a nice level and the staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the cut and Jay did a great job. I was happy that he didn’t overly sharpen his blades and aggressively attack my head. Overall i enjoyed the experience and will return.

Very modern, clean and professional. Offered drinks, loved it! The flooring is great, might be hard to find from the gps instruction. It’s located in a shopping plaza next to country club and stein mart, behind hooters.
I had Jermaine also, and he did a great job with the haircut.

When I first moved to Augusta finding a barbershop was definitely a challenge. As a kid and in my 20’s, I think I cut my hair wherever and whenever, and I didn’t really care. As I grew older, I started to go to the same barber, get the same style, you learn what you like and you want to keep it that way. I had gone to a couple of other barber shops and was always a bit unimpressed with the cuts. I swear my sideburns were uneven almost every time I went.
And then Avant Williams opened up. I decided to check it out, and I was impressed. The entire place has an atmosphere of great style, sophistication, and cleanliness. It’s really quite relaxing. The employees are all friendly, and the manager/​owner is fantastic. I get my hair cut by Jermaine, who is great. They also do nails, spa treatments and massages.
You do pay a bit more than the supercuts and sports cuts or whatever, but you get a much better haircut. I know some people may feel that the chain places give good haircuts, and to that I say you don’t know what you are missing until you try it. So check out Avant-​Williams and get a better haircut, you’ll never go back to the chain barbershops again.
