Worth a try. You can get a creative salad here and make it your own. The meat preparation is lacking so skip it, but with enough sauce you might not notice. Service is good every time I’ve gone. For large orders, double check to make sure everything is there ha they’ve forgotten things a couple times.

While I still stand by the tip I left several months ago, I feel obliged to write an actual review. The namesake wraps – as others have mentioned – are slightly more expensive than you might expect. They are sort of like Chipotle burritos but more expensive for what you get. In my opinion this gets balanced out by the fact that they are local and that there is a severe lack of restaurants in the Augusta area that serve good, fresh food. #supportlocal That said, I tend to go to Bay Wrap because their muffins and scones are off the charts, and their brewed coffee is excellent. And this is where the real value is for me: under $ 4 for a muffin made right there and Coffee by Design coffee. The scone I had just this morning was still warm. So yeah, resist the urge to get espresso and reward yourself with just about any other option. You will not regret that decision.

I live in Augusta, work here and eaten at the«Wrap» several times, but lately the service and food had gone downhill. Like others have commented, it’s mostly rice in the rubbery wrap. Last night, my daughter talked me into trying it again, so I left work 15 minutes early so I could get to the wrap in plently of time. I walked through the door at 5pm and was promptly told they were closed. I looked at the time schedule on the door and it said closed at 5:30pm. The women behind the counter turned to a male co-worker and said«Can you go lock the door.» I asked why they were closed when it clearly stated they were open until 5:30? I even stated I was getting it to go. I received a clipped«We’re closed.» Yes, your business certainly will be with that attitude.

So, here is an update on my previous review. While I am still unimpressed with their price to portion ratio, the food is pretty tasty. I tend to get my wraps«unwrapped» so that I don’t have to deal with the mess of the actual wrap and can just eat all the good stuff out of a container with a fork. I did not have a good experience the first time I went, but I find myself getting food there pretty often.

I work in Augusta, which is well known for lousy lunch sites. Baywraps may not appeal to everyone, but it offers healthy, tasty and interesting wraps. Best falafel north of Portland!

Bay Wrap is alright, but I don’t know that I would consider it great. Don’t get me wrong, the food is extremely tasty. I also really like their beverage and chip selection. Unfortunately, their wraps are filled with so much rice it is hard to see where I am getting the value from my purchase. I’d prefer to see more substance and less filler for what they cost.

This is a smashingly great place to get take-out for lunch. Most of the wraps have rice in them, which makes them super filling. Only order a large if you are absolutely starving… a small is more than enough for lunch. They have an online menu available and some uniquely flavorful wraps to choose from. I have had their southwest/taco salad but havent tried anything other than that + the wraps. I love their salmon and thai wraps the best, although the greek style one is nice as well. There isnt much room for seating inside, and the place is always crazy busy at lunchtime during the work week. All the state employees know the secret of BayWrap! :)
