My daughter went there this morning and was absolutely thrilled with Capilo’s. She had her hair washed, cut and straightened. It looks great. The staff was very friendly & welcoming. You can make an appointment but walk-​ins are welcome too. The outside of the building looks a wee bit industrial but don’t let that fool you. These guys know their way around a head of hair. And because it’s a beauty school, the price is right. I’m taking my son there next week. Now THAT will be a challenge!

I always get my hair cut here as well as my six-​year-​old son’s hair. Sometimes you get a new student and they can take a while to get it right. You just have to be patient. The low prices make it worth it, and if they do a good job you should tip. If you are very particular about your hair, this might not be the place to get your hair cut. I have always ended up with a nice haircut and most of the students/​stylists are interesting and pleasant to chat with. It’s also fun checking out all the different hairstyles and colors that the students sport. In my experience they are great with cutting kid’s hair too, as long as you have a child that can sit patiently for a while.
