Augusta, ME
Been in a few times. Always good food and beer combined with a friendly environment. A lot of good live music and trivia night is fun. Only negative would be the service can be spotty. Overall one of the best places to go in Augusta.

I stopped in to get dinner and a beer. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad. I got a plate of chopped iceberg lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing with minced chicken sprinkled on top. I was not impressed, especially because it was $ 11.49. The guy next to me ordered nachos that looked amazing but I can’t review based on a stranger’s food.
I ordered a tap Sam’s Summer that came in a small glass, I was never offered a larger option. The beer was properly priced at around $ 3.
Despite the shortcomings of my dinner, the atmosphere was one of the best I’ve seen in the area, including the friendly smiling staff. Next time I stop, it will just be for a drink.

Amazing place. Great food, great drinks, great service and atmosphere. Pizza is especially excellent, as are the cupcakes. Good beer selection. Fantastic people!

First time for dinner there last night. Totally great pizza and wings. The entertainment was fun and light. I really enjoyed the food and service. for my first visit a must try again.

Great atmosphere, excited for their menu to hopefully expand. Pizza is delicious!
Trivia at 7:30 on Thursdays is a good time, though questions tend to be more difficult than those at other area bars.

Charlamagne’s is a relatively new bar and lounge in downtown Augusta. Their ever expanding menu has some incredible treats on it, but you cannot go wrong with the pizzas or desserts.
Tina Charest has done a wonderful job establishing Charlamagne’s, and you know it will be a fun night with her and Jeff behind the bar. The service is good, and it won’t be long before they’ll be asking if you’re having «the usual».
They feature live music most of the week. Open for football on Sundays, but closed on Mondays. Trivia night also happens every Thursday. Stop in if you’re looking for a nice place to grab a drink!
