Charming Charlie – Augusta

I really am obsessed with this place. I love that everything is grouped by color. They always have some interesting piece that I don’t know I’m looking for from earrings, to handbags to scarves and hair accessories. They even keep a huge supply of earring backs and other little maintenance items for your jewelry. I never come to the mall without stopping by.

I know I’m probably the only one who will say this but, Charming Charlie is just ok. Yes they have color coded tables and sections but for me it ends there. It’s all costume jewelry of course but kinda cheap looking. I found that the accessories at New York and Company and Franchesas (spelling?) are a better quality. I’ve been in the CC in Savannah and Augusta. Savannah seems to have a better atmosphere.

Extensive selection of quality and unique accessories, all at great prices. I bought my wedding jewelry here and it looked fabulous. Charming Charlie’s is my addiction.

Great jewelry selection. No other place in Augusta like it! If you are a girlie girl like me or have a slight obsession with accessories, then you have to visit Charming Charlie. I was so very pleased when I found a store that sold mainly accessories. On most of my shopping ventures, the accessory area is the area of the store that I go to first. Here a Charming Charlie, the selection is infinite. The store is organized by color and style. It thought this was a clever idea because sometimes I’m just looking for jewelry to go with a specific ensemble and I want to go directly the selection and choose. Also if you are looking for items for a pageant or formal event, they have a great array of formal jewelry for you to choose from.
The store is not just jewelry. They sell handbags, scarves, sunglasses, wallets, clutches, hats (I LOVE HATS) and limited clothing and shoes. The store is very affordable. I truly love a bargain, so signing up for the mailing list is always helpful. Being a part of the Charming Charlie email mailing list gives you the skinny on sales are before heading to the store and provides you with great coupons. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I was looking for some accessories for an outfit once and one of the staff members scoured the store to find the best pieces for my outfit, which they let me bring in the store.
If you come in this store and leave with nothing, I’d be appalled. They even have a clearance section, which is full of great jewelry that was simply marked down and moved to make room for new inventory. Typically clearance sections are sketchy, but I’ve found some of my favorite accessories in the clearance section. Just think of this place as your go-​to for inexpensive, but quality jewelry and accessories.
