AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The single worse experience I have ever had at a Cheddars! We were seated, don’t look under the tables at the booths — the floor is dirty and there was debris from the previous occupants. We sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. We were finally asked if we had been helped. We said nope — instead of helping us they said they would get our server. Finally took our drink order and disappeared again. Finally showed back up to take our order. They were not even busy and it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive for 3 people. My fried chicken salad had hardly any fried chicken on it — maybe one crusty old, cold chicken tender, maybe. My boss (who I think she enjoyed) ordered the chicken tender plate and had a heaping mound of tenders. I think he got the ones that should have been on my salad. Didn’t provide the asked for condiments, had to ask for refills. And slapped our tab down on the table without asking if we wanted anything else. And again, this was late evening and they were not busy. DO NOT GO HERE! Carolina Ale House down the road is a better choice and a lot better service.

Finally ate here, wont be back. The server was friendly and what not, but i was unimpressed with the food. I had steak and mashed potatoes, i could have had better at longhorns or just cooked it myself. There was no seasoning on my food, very very bland. Didnt stay for dessert but wont be back.

We had the waitress from hell. Jerry curls and all. But the food was good and the manager made up for unprofessional server treatment. Hey nothings perfect

Went here for a large group event. They were very unprepared for us. The area where they sat us was not large enough to accommodate everyone. There were booths with missing tables that they had to bring in tables from outside. It took us about 30 min to order. One of the guests at our table of four ordered croissants which took 30 minutes to be delivered to our table. Our drinks took 45 minutes to arrive and our food an hour. When our food did arrive, my entrée was missing half of the combination and the waitress did not realize it. One table of over 6 all received their food and ate except for a small child. The child’s food did not arrive for over an hour and fifteen minutes. Overall, this was a terrible experience and will not be going back.

Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, NEVER AGAIN… Meat was burnt to a crisp, they pour a lot of gravy over to hide the burnt meat, which was paper thin
Meat looked like it was a week old, NO taste at all, none
Staff looked very sloppy, pull up your pants and tuck them shirts in!!!
I was asked if I wanted to see a manager, what for… management doesn’t care… if they did
they wouldn’t be getting negative feed back so often

The waitress was nice. The food was OK. I asked for a well done burger. and there was PINK in the meat still. Sooo ill probably wont come back for awhile. It sux that this was our first time here… and it was just OK overall.

Despite the bad reviews that I read, we enjoyed our experience here. The food was great. The drinks were great. The only thing I didn’t like was the people who sat near us were extremely loud. But that wasn’t the restaurants fault. People should be more considerate and aware of those around them. They were so loud that we couldn’t hear each other at our own table. But other than that we had a great experience.

Service was attentive and friendly. Food was satisfying, and good, but not wow-​inspiring. Would eat there again. Prices were very reasonable.

Worst Cheddar’s experience EVER! After our 45-​minute wait, we were seated by the hostess. It took 15 more for our waiter to stop by & take our order. We decided to seize the moment & order everything while he was at the table. Another 10 minutes we got our drinks — non-​alcoholic SO no bar trip necessary — & an appetizer at the same time. Our waiter was obvious new, but I question whether they train anyone here. Food was OK… but the experience ruined it for me. I won’t be returning to this establishment!

I love the food here. I’m very frugal and learned my way around the menu. There are different ways to order thongs to do it for less money. The food is good and good size servings for my hungry man.

Service was mediocre. I had the fried shrimp with fries and cole slaw. my slaw didn’t come out. My salad salad I ordered came out with my meal. My food was only slightly warm. My husband got a large portion of chicken tenders. Other than having ranch sauce spilled all over, his fries were also not hot. His salad also came out late. We won’t be back.

The service was grate, nice clean place.
The food smelled delicious, was good but NOT grate. Food took a while to arrive, but we did get an extra onion ring basket for free, not a lot of different choices for kids food.
Still a good place, just not as tasty as I was holing it would be.

Food was good. Service was slow! 30 minutes after we finished eating, we flagged another waiter to bring us our check! Not planning to come back here again!

Stopped in for lunch today. Restaurant was busy like every other time I’ve eaten there. We were seated very quickly. Waiter was attentive to our needs. There was a large party ahead of us so our food took longer than usual to get to us… Much longer. Try to have something different every time I pop in. This time I Ordered the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich with a loaded baked potato… yeah I know they don’t match but that’s what I do! Lol Food was great. Can’t beat the prices.

Service was less then impressive but my food was good. We waited for 15 Mins, to even get a server but after that everything was pretty okay.

If I would have Unilocal (ed) this place before going, I wouldn’t have gone. I’m glad I did go though. The food was good; they serve hefty portions, and the service was good. The atmosphere is conducive to having a good meal. The location is good and central; I think that’s why it’s always crowded. We got there around six, which turned out to be the perfect time, as there was no wait. When we were leaving there was a line out the door and the place was packed. You get a choice of a lunch or dinner serving size. If you are extremely hungry then go for the dinner portions, otherwise, the lunch portion is adequate.

The service is terrible. Once we were seated, it took seven minutes before we were accomodated, and that was only because we called a server over to us. I was in a party of five and they brought our food to us separately instead of together as most restaurants do. One of the people in my party got his food so much later than the rest of is that we were all mostly finished eating by the time they brought him his! I ordered the steak and shrimp meal, there were four tiny pieces of shrimp and the smallest piece of steak I have ever seen. (See pic).
However, the food was good, the server was working very hard going from table to table as quickly as he could, I felt bad for him.
I think this Chedders needs a management overhaul.

Great food for a cheap price and they usually do well with large groups. Get the Chicken Alfredo with cajun alfredo sauce! It is always a struggle on what to order when I come here because I am a fan of so many options.

This is the worst place to eat in Augusta. It was dirty and had trash all over the floors. My family and I waited for over an hour for a table to eat and while we were taken to be seated we counted 16 tables that were either empty or were still dirty with used dishes still there from the previous guests. Once we ordered our food my salmon came out way undercooked and I did not receive a refill of my tea for dinner until 20 minutes later. We arrived to cheddars at 6:30pm and did not leave until after 9pm due to poor service. We requested to speak with the manager and were left waiting another 20 minutes. This place use to be a good affordable place to go as a family. Now it is just nasty and disgusting. I will never got to this location ever again.
