I love it so much, I try the buffet and also the menu, clean fresh and readable prices

Plenty of parking available, and the sign is easy to find along Washington road. Service was great and we were quickly served, party of two. We were confused by the wait staff because of the portion size. They didn’t let us know what was coming so we thought we were getting smaller portion sizes, which was not the case! The wait staff though is very accommodating and kept filling our water even when we were ready to pay. Worth a stop for Indian!

Stopped in for lunch today. The food on the small buffet was very bland. Chicken was dry and not very flavorful. The staff were very friendly. Don’t think I will be back.

Great service and amazing Indian eats. The service can be super slow on the weekend so I advise you call in your order. The customer service is amazing! Deffinatly check it out!

For 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and an order of Naan you will be about 50 with tip. I am actually around a 2.5 now. The rice wasn’t all that great and the portion of rice for 2 people was small. The service was not the best, they ended up being out of one of the main meat choices I wanted and the food i did end up ordering ended up tasting ok but definitely is not as good as it should have been and i know this from the one other time I went when everything was much better and cheaper. In all they are ok but you may want to bypass them for other options in the area.

The food was pretty good but I had two health related concerns while eating here. 1) the plates are sitting out on the table instead of brought to you when the food comes out. I personally don’t like having plates left out in a busy restaurant with waiters, children, and families buzzing around. 2) the waitress placed the menu on top of my «clean» plate(or as clean as a plate sitting out in the open could be). The menus have been touched and handled by many people and I would rather not have them touch my plate. If the plates were just handed out later when the food comes this would not be an issue. I will come again, but I would really appreciate if the manager could reconsider how the menus and plates are distributed.

Solid food! Our service was a little lackluster, though. For a not-busy Thursday night, they seemed a little apathetic to tending to the two tables of customers. However my navratan vegetarian Korma was spicy and rich. It was very good. Their naans are out of this world! I’m glad I tried the Kamshmiri because they used coconut instead of the traditional dried fruits and it was a game changer. The garlic naan is great too. They use real ghee here and it is apparent in the flavor of their food. I’d probably do carry out next time to avoid the poor service and strange atmosphere(they play a weird mix of Whitney Houston and Bollywood hits, but it was kinda like they’d let maybe half of a Hindi song play, then would switch it back too bad 90s pop, like there was some sort of bipolar struggle going on in behind the scenes.) But their food speaks for itself, so I’d recommend it given that caveat.

Had the buffet on a Sunday Afternoon. Not too busy. Although service was good, the food was flavorless and lackluster. Naan was always fresh and the potatoes were the only thing on point. Great for kids if they are picky eaters.

Good food but not terribly flavorful. The buffet was very small but the selection was good for the size of the buffet. The rice and naan were always fresh and replenished so those and the«garlic potatoes» were definitely the highlights. The staff was friendly but a bit inattentive because they were busy.

Solid Indian food, especially considering this is Augusta. Weekend buffet is $ 9, which I think is a decent deal, but the food from menu is definitely better(and little more expensive).

Delicious Indian food! My husband and I got the paneer tikka masala, baingan bhartha, and a few naans, including garlic and peshawari. Everything was savory and spiced perfectly, and the portions were more than enough for both of us.

My husband wanted to try this place for the buffet. It was good, the tandoori chicken was good but for me the other dishes lacked spiciness that I look for in Indian food. One of my favorite things I like to make at home is butter chicken, while theirs was good it wasn’t spicy at all which makes it taste bland to me, which made me feel like I could have cooked it better at home. Rice pudding was good and so was the Naan but the buffet doesn’t have a lot of options and it’s pretty much vegetables or chicken.(And«Chinese noodles» which I didn’t try because why?) My husband ate a lot of food but I was looking for something I actually wanted because it wasn’t satisfying my want of spicy food but I wasn’t waisting money. Might try the place again for dinner because maybe they will cater more to people’s tastes.

Knock Knock. Who’s there? Candi! Candi Who? Candidly speaking, I have yet to find a better Indian Buffet, and I really think you should try Curry Hut! This place is very, VERY unassuming and small, and you’re likely to miss it tucked among the larger establishments on Washington Rd. But be vigilant my friend! They are worth whipping out the magnifying glass for. The selection is small, but everything(EVERYTHING) is so delicious I can’t stand it. Fresh Na’an, their fried lentils ought to be ASHAMEDOFTHEMSELVES for being so delightful. Their coffee is creamy and strong, a perfect compliment to their cool and crisp signature salad. Plus the Tandoori is magnificent. I was sitting at my table pondering a new descriptor for how good that tandoori chicken was(Tanriffic? Chicktastic? Dooricious?!) When an employee appeared beside me with a tray of hot, fresh… you guessed it… TANDOORI and affectionately placed an extra piece on my plate. I just stared off into the distance, wondering how I could sneak into their storeroom and live there without them noticing. TL;DR: Curry yourself on over there, you won’t be disappointed!

Full disclaimer: Indian food is by far my favorite type of cuisine, so I may be a bit biased haha. Went here on Labor Day to fulfill my cravings for Indian food, since I haven’t had any Indian food in MONTHS. Came in for the Lunch Buffet and was the first customer. I talked to Singh, who I believe may be the owner and he was incredibly nice and attentive to diners’ needs. As for the food, I was EXTREMELY satisfied. The Pakoras were delicious as was the chicken tandoori(which, for the record, is my all time favorite dish). I stuffed myself with 3WHOLE plates. Needless to say, I highly recommend Curry Hut.

Back open and even more delicious than before! The owner is one of the nicest man you’ll ever meet. Always greets my wife and I and always knows what we want to drink and eat. Even remembers my wife’s no heat in her paneer masala! Deliciious lunch buffet and great dinner service! We love this place!

They are back open!!! They were closed for like four months because of a kitchen fire but are up and running again! Come support these awesome people. My husband and I are new to the Augusta area but this place is one I will come to often! This place is delish and the people who work here are so sweet!!! If you are craving Indian this is the place to be! They also have a lunch buffet, which I have not been to yet, but Indian buffets are great because you get to try new stuff… Can’t wait to try all they have to offer! Candy by the door… Is sugar covered fennel… If it’s not your thing don’t try… Hahaaha

I really miss good Indian food so even though the name was a bit off putting, we still gave yet another Indian restaurant a chance. For lunch, they offer a buffet or off menu option and my sister and I opted for the buffet since it looked like all the other tables were 1. regulars 2. really enjoying the tandoori chicken 3. going to eat all the rice pudding before I could get to it. So of course I go for dessert first and work my way backwards. But I was sure to sample both the vegetarian and meat options. I was happy to see paneer on the buffet line, as well as tikka masala and plenty of suave so complement the tandoori which was surprising moist for a buffet item. The staff was exceptionally warm and attentive and the touches of home pictures on the wall gave it a nice authentic feel. The prices were reasonable and the food was up to par with other Indian places just down the street.

Ambience. C Service. B Food. B+ Price. A Place is little rundown décor but clean. Old bathrooms need updating. This building was Thai Jong restaurant. Service is friendly and quick to sit. However, it can get crowded for their lunch buffet. If it gets busy and you need anything just call one of the servers over. Ironically, the former owner LePhoung came out of retirement just to help out a couple days a week in the front. It was good seeing her again. I’m glad they worked the kinks out find their initial opening. I like that they offer all the side dishes at the buffet bar. I like the veggie yougurt, the mint chutney and the real salty fermented veggies. There’s also a nice yellow sweet rice dessert that’s not overly sweet. The chicken tikka was perfectly cooked and moist, the chicken masala was nicely flavored with Indian spices. Loved the stir fried«fried» eggplant. And zucchini dish was delicious. And nothing like nice hot fresh naan. It’s worth the wait when it comes out hot. Not sure I’d order the Indian tea again. You get a small cup and its $ 2.00 and no refill. But nicely sweet and creamy. The lunch buffet was around $ 22 with tax and tip for 2 people. I’m a fan. I’d go back again

The Curry Hut serves up an outstanding lunch buffet and rotates the selections on a daily basis(at least a few items). We’ve been here a couple times for lunch and just love their food. I do have to say I’d prefer some spicier options — they have 5 or 6 low spice options and 1 medium offering(closer to mild). At least 1 more medium or spicier option would really round out the buffet, but I understand they have to cater to the crowd that comes in. The folks who work here are friendly and helpful, too — they made a point to keep us topped off with water and ask how the food was even when the crowd was picking up. I’ll certainly be headed back for dinner at some point to order a few things off the menu.
