Pulled pork was ok, but didn’t have much«smoke» or BBQ flavor. Bbq sauces: mustard based was best. Red mild was too sweet and no smoke. Hot was just hot. Blend the 2 together and u have an ok red bbq sauce. Burgers looked good I did not try. No buffet anymore but they still do. all u can eat. This place is not a disaster by any means, but if both were open I’d be inclined to go to SConyers.

Very good BBQ(not the best in town, but very good nonetheless) but the burgers are to die for! They have several sizes(up to 24 oz) and they cook to order. It’s a friendly atmosphere with funny décor, low prices and great food.

I gave it 1 star because that is the lowest rating that I could give. Lets set the record straight, This place is NOTNOTNOT better than Sconyer’s or Motts or Edmunds or the grass in the pasture. This was most probably the worst meal I have ever paid for. Everything seemed to be very old even the pork. The meat was very burnt and dry. I do not see how this place stays in business. Don’t believe the other reviews or you will regret spending 10.00 per person with drink. You will leave wanting to puke in the parking lot. Trust me I am not kidding!

Totally acceptable pulled pork, good sauces, and a plentiful buffet(on which the pulled pork was the only BBQ item) — lots of southern veggies. I was in a hurry so didn’t get to sample widely, but enjoyed most of what I tried.

This place is better than Sconyer’s or Motts or Edmunds. Does Edmunds even smoke their meat? I digress… The pull pork is well-seasoned and has obvious smoke rings. Same goes for the ribs. Brisket is a little tough, but I’m from Texas so I’m not complaining. The mustard and vinegar sauces are unlike anywhere else in Augusta. The value is the best part. $ 7 – 8 for the buffet and the sides are great too. Dessert and salad, soup included. There is no reason to pay twice as much and eat same quality bbq with much less portions somewhere else. Service is great and family run. Another good part is that anyone and everyone gets service there, rich/poor, black/white…
