This was my last time shopping here. I craft a lot. I have already completed many surveys but nothig seems to work. I will now use Hancock and Hobby Lobby from now on. First… The fabric and pattern area is a mess. Not from the general shopping public but because there is not enough space for all they have packed in that area. The pattern drawers are so worn that some don’t even open and the one I was able to pull open, the handle pulled off completely and cut my hand!!! The«pull a number» thing to get fabric cut is broken and has been left iopen for months. There isn’t enough help in the fabric cutting area so it takes entirely too long to get fabric cut. The register lines are even worse. Today was the last straw. There were four registers open. That’s the most I have ever seen. But two cashiers decided to go do other stuff while the line was clearly backed up, leaving only two cashiers to handle the extremely long line. They acted like they didn’t notice the line because they held their heads down and walked off. Finding someone to assist is nearly impossible. They need new management here.

So I go here and to Hobby Lobby for most of my crafting needs. They have the largest selection of fabrics in the area(that I’m aware of). The store is always moving things around it seems, I guess to keep you there for longer and maybe buy things you weren’t planning on. There are some very kind people who work here, but it seems like they’re stretched thin. I would give the store 3 stars if it wasn’t absolutely awful for mothers. I’m not even a Mom but while frequenting the store with a friend with a newborn, her son had a blow out. These things happen, ok. Well when she went to change him in the bathroom, there was no changing station. We asked an employee where we could go and she brought us to a cubby hole where the manager’s office and employee break room was. Not into either one of these rooms, but into the entry way, as the rooms were closed and you needed a code to get in. Well here we are on the floor(THEFLOOR) changing a baby diaper and the store manager(I asked an employee who she was after the fact) comes out and steps over the baby. I’m sorry, we’re we in your way?!? She never said anything to either one of us. Not«excuse me» or «sorry my store is unequipped for women with babies, of which is our main target audiance.» All in all the place is a «run in and grab what you need and go» kind of place. Make sure you bring coupons too! For the love of all that is holy, try not to pay full price for anything here.

I’ve got a new hobby that involves lots of fabric and after shopping around, it looks like JoAnn’s is the place to be. They have lots of great options depending on your project. You can find fabric for clothing, quilting, upholstery etc. You have the option for receive coupons via text. You actually receive 20% off your first purchase when you sign up. That’s great when coupled with there already affordable fabrics. The fabric cutting line is setup like the DMV, so you pull a number and wait until it’s called or shows up on the display. I actually appreciated it because the day of my visit was busy and I didn’t want to fight anyone over a spot in line. They have several other items like frames, home décor, craft materials etc. I’ll likely be visiting here again in the near future.

It is hard to write a review for a Fabric Store. I don’t generally appreciate how crowded the fabric section is in relation to how few employees there usually are. it can take FAR too long to get your fabric cut. But there is a selection of things that can’t be found at other Fabric or Craft Stores in the area. There are good deals and coupons that can be stacked or doubled frequently. I use this as

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Joann’s Fabric!!! I can’t say enough about this store. I’ve been shopping here for years. I even patronized them when they were just down the street in another shopping plaza. Everything about this store is great to me. From the craft supplies to the fabrics, I’m so in love with this store. They have a great selection of art supplies. I have spent hours in this store admiring the items and purchases alot of them. I think their selection is better than most of the craft stores in the area. Everything is very accessible. The sections and aisles are easy to maneuver through. The prices are really reasonable for the quality of product you are getting. The fabric selection is to die for. I have found some of the most beautiful and affordable fabrics here! The fabric section is large and there are many great fabrics here. There is also a pattern section where you can look through books, find, and purchase patterns. They also sell sewing machines. They are very affordable. They also have people here to go over the functions of the sewing machine with you. They are usually very knowledgeable and can guide you in the right direction as to what sewing machine is best for you. This store offers several classes during each month. You can ask one of the cashier for a schedule of all the classes. They are really good classes too, for a small fee for each one. The staff here is great as well. They will help you with anything that you may need help with. They go above and beyond the call of duty, and they have the sweetest and nicest personalities. I can say this is a perfect store to get all your crafting supplies. Whenever you are in an artsy mood they are here to provide you with wonderful merchandise and great customer service. I’ve been a fan of this store for a long time and these are the several reasons why I’m still a fan. As long as they keep up the good work I will be here to spend my money with them!!!

My wife and I agree about the selection but the line is a bit long. However the long lines mean that a lot of people think it’s worth it.

I love this store’s selection of craft items & fabrics and their politics are much less offensive than Hobby Lobby, so this is my crafting store of choice. The fabric section employees are really friendly, but throughout the rest of the store it’s practically impossible to find an employee when you need help and the cashiers are often really awkward. The worst drawback to the store is the ridiculous line. Getting fabric cut took about 15 minutes and waiting to pay took an additional 10. Once at the cashier, be sure to use a coupon! The iPhone app is handy for coupons. Side note, I know some people only have iPods and can’t use the app in the store without wireless. An easy way around that is to just screep-cap the coupon(press home button and top button simultaneously). Easy peasy!

First off this place has a great selection and very polite staff. I gave them 3stars because every time I am in line to check out it is VERY long(and I understand that isn’t something the story itself can control), but despite that the line will be extremely long to check out… you will still then have to wait even longer because the cashiers still try to upsale everything. I totally get that the company itself will want ANYONE and EVERYONE who is willing to sign up for coupons and discount cards and what not. But each cashier should have the intelligence to know when it is appropriate to try to push those items and when it is not appropriate to push those items. Heres a hint: it is not a good idea to push extra anything when the line is already 15 – 20 mins long… good store though
