Lumber Liquidators

We love the bamboo floors we bought from here, but the experience was terrible. First, we were charged for a cleaning kit without being told, didn’t notice until after we got home and were reviewing the receipt. When we called to ask about the charge, they were nonchalant about it and said something along the lines that they thought we needed it. I would have likely purchased it on my own if they had recommended it when we checked out. It took speaking to manager to get our money back for it. Secondly, we ordered 730 sqft of flooring and only received and were charged for 700 sqft of underlayment. It wasn’t until we were about done laying down the floor when we noticed we wouldn’t have enough and had to rush to get the additional roll before lumber liquidators closed for the weekend. If you’ve ever been in the middle of a project you know the last thing you want is to stop because of someone else’s mistake. We figured that since we didn’t have enough underlayment, we wouldn’t have enough flooring, so we asked for an additional box since we were already there. We were told they didn’t have any. It turns out that we were right and were short on flooring by just a few sqft. Now you would think that if we say we’re covering 730 sqft we would get just a bit over that to cover down on mistakes and or scrap part pieces from cuts (we specifically asked for an additional box just in case) but we were told we wouldn’t need it. (They don’t know our experience level and have never been to our house). When we call the next day to order the one additional box we needed, they say they had one in stock even though the day before they said they didn’t. Then they also have the nerve to ask us to give them a 20 min head start when we decide to pick it up so that they «can move things around and get the wood out». It’s beyond me why me asking for it during that phone call wasn’t sufficient for those actions to occur and required an additional phone call. Again we love the floors but could have gone without the extra hassle if our order would have been placed correctly to begin with.

The service at this store is amazing. The people are so nice and extremely helpful! I was very pleased with my product (Brazilian Koa laminate) and the expertise of the associates at the store!
