New China Buffet

The people were alright but the lomein on the bar was atrocious. And the sushi was grey. We got there when they opened. Spooky.

I’ve been enjoying Chinese buffets since I was a kid!!! My family loved them and in turn I loved them also. I have been to really good ones and some downright nasty ones. I can say this is a good one. This place is almost perfect for my love of Chinese cuisine and buffets.
There is about 4 bars of entrees, a salad bar, dessert bar, and an ice cream station. The entrée choices were not bad at all. They had some of my favorites like Chicken and Broccoli, Salt and Pepper Chicken, and Cheese Wontons. There were also the staples there too – Fried rice, egg rolls, Pepper Steak, Chicken wings, and Lo Mein.
Some of the things I tried were good but had a weird, sweet taste to them. I don’t know why but it was there. The chicken wings and the egg rolls were really good! They were very flavorful and needed nothing to go along with them. I ate quite a few of those.
The waitress was nice and handled everything perfectly. The cooks in the back kept everything stocked on the bar when it did run out. You really didn’t have to tell them they need things because they would bring them out automatically. I LOVED that!!! I didn’t get a chance to try and dessert or salad. I was stuffed.
The owner did come along and asked if everything was fine and I liked the fact that he said, «Thank you, my friend!», when I paid. I felt that was really sincere! I think I found a buffet I can become a regular in. I just hope this one doesn’t close down when I really started enjoying the food too much, like the ones before this one!!!

The only good thing about this place is that there’s no wait. But, why would there be? The food is terrible and the radio is stuck on Christian rock. Nothing against Christians, but when you’re not one, you don’t want to listen to that all evening. I can say our server was friendly but not clingy.

Typical Chinese Buffet, good selection of food on buffet, and wait staff friendly and keep tea glass topped off. Individual pre-​packaged ice cream cups.
