Everyone kept telling me I had to try this place for its burgers and fries.
I’m not that thrilled of this end of town. So, went during lunch hour. Gotta love the early the surprise opening the doors to see what a huge space this pub provides. Over 10+ pool tables. Not thrilled that there is still smoking indoors. Had to find a table where smoke wouldn’t interrupt my lunch. (Interesting to see some early die hard drinkers!).
My server was very friendly and accommodating with placing our orders.
So, the burgers must be ¼+ lb as they’re huge and hand packed. I requested cooked medium as I like my meat a little pink. Also, the fries are cut fresh daily. Nicely crispy and fried! Do order a large plate to share! Overall, for the price and experience, this was a delicious fulfilling lunch. Also, beer is CHEAP!
I wasn’t too thrilled with a few patrons just sitting and eyeballing why I was there. Made me feel a little uncomfortable and closer to my handbag!
I can’t imagine what the nightlife is like. I bet you could cut the smoke with a knife!
I’d go back, but probably for lunch again.
