S.H.A.R.P.E. Shooters

Great venue. I visites for the first time this Monday. And I am impressed. As an NRA certified instructor it is obvious that safety os paramount in the operation of the facility. They have a good selection of targets and plenty of equipment for rent including firearms. This is extremely helpful if you may be in the market for a new gun but not sure which one is right for you, try a couple and see what feels right. The range officer was very friendly and knowledgeable. He greeted me and asked if I had been there before? He promptly gave me a safety brief and explained the statuses and commands he would be using. After a firing order he verified weapons were safe before allowing anyone down range. He even assisted with getting my new sights diled in as he saw I was getting frustrated with the process. After I finished he informed me of some events he thought I might be interested in. Definitely worth the visit.

I don’t really frequent many shooting ranges but try to keep up with the times when it comes to being at least an average shot. I find this range to be clean, well organized and not too busy most hours of the day.
I wish there was more room to stretch out and go for long distances but beggars not be choosers, right?

Great place to do some outdoor shooting for hand guns and long guns here in Augusta, Ga. The staff is really friendly and most are prior military members, they support the military on Thursdays with a discount with proof of Mil/​ID. They have bays for pistols and a 200m/​200yd to zero your long guns and optics. Price is reasonable and you can shoot all day. You can also rent firearms and buy ammo and targets to include eyes and ears if needed. Before you can fire lead down range you have to watch a 10 min video on range safety. Then you can shoot your lil heart all you want. Best days for me are weekdays, less folks and more time for some good training. Be advise Saturday and Sunday’s might be busy due to the weekend!
