I use to go here all the time when it was at the old location. When they moved it still had that same feel but in the last couple of years or so I’m not sure what happened. What was a great place to hang with friends and watch the fights is now a shadow of what it use to be. I went back for the first time in 6 months and it was a little better but not by much. Maybe its new management but whatever it is I hope they get it together. This place has a lot of potential.

Waitress was friendly, and the Asian zing wings were good. But, the chicken nachos were not good, and prices were too high for what you got. I did like that they had hard cider on tap, but really, we just left disappointed and don’t plan to return.

Bad service, bad food, bad seating, bad times! I used to go here to watch Ufc fights, but I now try and watch them elsewhere. The service is slow at best. The last time I was there my food was delivered and I then waited for my waitress to come by because we didn’t have silverware or condiments. I got tired of waiting and got it myself from the wait station. My one drink I ordered was watered down and melted by the time it got to me. Augusta has several other sports bars to go to. Make this your last resort.

The food and the staff here are amazing! They have a large room available for private parties and events so perfect for groups. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who is a sports fan, fan of music, and comedy lovers alike.

This place is one of my several«go to» bars in Augusta. It is definitely a good ‘ol neighborhood bar perfectly suitable for small or large«get togethers». As with most bars, they have various themed event nights as well as live music featuring local talent. The crowd fluctuates a good bit, which I like since I know I can get excellent service in a relatively calm environment before 9pm on weeknights, as well as a more lively scene later at night or on the weekends. The food is pub fare, but far above typical quality in my estimation. Excellent sandwiches and burgers as well as one helluva hot dog if you have the appetite and courage to order it. By far, the go to menu choice is their wings. I will go so far to say their sauce is the best in town. I highly recommend Somewhere in Augusta with many years of patronage behind my recommendation, yet no affiliation with the staff or owners.

The queso sticks or the chicken nachos are two of the best options here.

Went for the comedy night last night, and it was quite fun! Not an open mic stand up but 2 comedians scheduled. Both quite funny. Only $ 8 entry fee for the show and a pretty good selection of beers on draft. Show 8−10pm. They’ve got a raffle at the end, and we won a free ticket to come back for another show :)

This is a BARANDGRILL. What are people expecting? The food is just that, and the prices are fair. We got the stuffed hot dog and it was a+. The quesadilla was great as well. Our waitress, Ashley, was awesome and very attentive. Would definitely come back.

Visited recently for a large group dinner. I liked the interior they have the dining area separate from the bar. The place has a clean & warm look. Our waitress was very nice & efficient to handle all our orders. Our wait for food wasn’t that long perhaps only 15 – 20 mins. Fairly extensive menu but really only standard pub food. We ordered an appetizer(buffalo shrimp), chicken sandwich dinner & bacon cheeseburger dinner. The app was pretty good but came out only lukewarm. I’m guessing being in such a large group meant our app had to wait to get out. That would explain why it wasn’t hot & why the shrimp was more soggy than crisp. The dinners were fine, nothing special. Giving a lower rating because when we got our bill I was a bit surprised. For 3 beers(all Sam Adams) & our food it was $ 60. I felt for the quality of the dinner wasn’t that high. The craft beer selection was probably one of the best we’ve seen in Augusta besides Carolina Ale House. Probably won’t return for dinner but may be making a stop in for their Craft Beer Tuesday promo.

Had an excellent lunch of pulled pork and baked beans. My friend had the Philly beef and fries which were also very good. Had appetizer of mozzarella sticks, very good. Molten lava cake for dessert was delish. Very reasonably priced. Definitely will be back

Some of my favorite wings in town. I love the lemon pepper. They have some good sandwiches too. I enjoy their comedy nights on Weds. I think it’s $ 8 now unless a major headliner. It used to be 5 bucks but still great deal for entertainment. They have nice lil patio for good weather days or if you have smoker in your crew. Occasionally got some bad service there but usually they are pretty good. Great place for groups but you won’t get private seating.

I used to like Somewhere, but I feel like it has really gone downhill lately. I’ve been 2 or 3 times in the past couple of months, just for the convenient location. One time I went, I ordered a Rogue Dead Guy Ale. This is a craft beer, but it is only $ 3.50 down the street at TBonz. When I got the bill, I was shocked to see it was $ 7 per bottle. The waitress also charged us for shots we didn’t order or receive, but they were the shot specials at only $ 1, so we decided it wasn’t even worth the argument. The food quality is nothing special – just your standard, pre-frozen, bar food. The prices are sky-high for this type of food though, so be aware. The waitresses have not been friendly each time I’ve been either. In fact, the waitress was downright rude on our last visit. She spoke in a condescending voice the whole time. She described literally every item we asked her opinion on as «okay» and then she sat down with a couple older guys across the room for the about 20 minutes while we needed refills, etc. There are so many restaurants on this corner of Washington. Don’t chose this one.

Great place to hang at during the Masters since it is nearly across the street from Augusta National. Decent drinks and decent food-nothing off the charts here. Service can be spotty but no terrible. Typical menu with no surprises here.

I went in with a group of 8 and all but 3 had issues with the food. I got a burger that had a bun so soggy I couldn’t pick it up and one friend had a salmon burger that they cooked and brought out before mentioning that they were out of the sauce that goes with it. The service wasn’t very good either.

There is deception used on their drink menu. They did not list prices for their«Craft Beer» selections. I was pleased to see one of my favorite beers, Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA included so I ordered one for me and another for a friend. I was shocked when I got my bill and was charged just over $ 18 for two beers. AREYOUKIDDINGME?! There are places in Augusta where you can get a DFH90 for $ 4.00 a pint. $ 5 or $ 6 a bottle would be pricey but not too uncommon. However, $ 8.25?! If that is the price, the patron should be made aware of the price either on the menu or by the server. That is a HUGE ripoff and deceitful not to include the price on the menu. If this is not corrected(in speaking with other people they had the same problem over a year ago) I will not be back and I will warn everyone I know about their ridiculous craft beer prices.

Went online to look up sports bars to watch the Masters and came up with this gem. If you like very slow service and subpar food then this is the place for you. $ 9 for some chips and salsa… Save your time and money and go Somewhere«Else» in Augusta.

SIA is a good place. Is a it a great place? No. But it’s a good place. I have been there three times. The first time just for a beer while waiting for my car to get serviced next door. The second, I had some time before an appointment and thought I’d pop in for some lunch. The third I took the gang from work there for happy hour. The beer selection is great, and they have craft beer and trivia nights, so definitely something fun to do if you are so inclined. The service is great. Everytime I go there they have been friendly, and they have always catered to my requests. When I went there for lunch I only had a limited amount of time, and the bartender put a rush on my food so I got it quickly, and was able to eat without rushing before I left. The food is good. Unfortunately, there is not a lot in the way of vegetarian options, which is certainly something that they could improve upon, and that’s probably one of the few downsides to this place. The prices are very reasonable, and their happy hours are fantastic.

2 stars for fun trivia and a tasty non-alcoholic drink and that’s about it. Wow was this food lame. I wasn’t real happy with the menu when I opened it. Mostly standard«bar and grill» fare, standard burgers, fries, boring quesadillas, «wraps» for the health conscious, plenty of alcoholic beverage choices, but pretty much nothing special. It looks like one of those places that’s owned by a former local football player. There’s tv’s and memorabilia everywhere, fitting well with the sports bar theme. They even have tv’s over the urinals… By the way, the whole restaurant smells like smoke, as if the employees are chain-smoking in the employee-only areas near the bathrooms. My wife, as close to a vegetarian as a meat-eater can be, pointed out that there were basically no vegetables on the menu other than the salads, which looked about as appetizing as the clown-man salads down the street at the big golden«M» arch. We tried to come as close as possible with the fried green beans, expecting something fresh and lightly battered, but what we got was an over-breaded bean out of a freezer bag, over-fried, then waaaay over-salted, with a weirdly not good«spicy» dipping sauce. 6 bucks Next up, a cheeseburger. I figured, ya know, this place is a bar, they’ve got to have at least a decent cheeseburger. And the menu claimed«fresh, never frozen» beef. Ba-freakin-loney. Ya know those frozen burger patties they sell at the Wally-mart? Well that’s essentially what this was on a flattened white bun with some old lettuce and a thick slice of gross tomato,(I’ll give some leeway here since I shouldn’t have gotten anything with a tomato so out of season). And of course, pale, floppy, freezer bag fries on the side. I’d have to make another comparison to the clown-man’s burger, although actually this time it tasted more like his nemesis the King. Vague reminders of high school lunch food… 10 freaking dollars, are you kidding? A friend of mine said«this place really thinks highly of their food…» My wife also ordered a nice, overpriced nonalcoholic cocktail which was a decent blend of concentrate juices, ginger ale, and grenadine. It tasted ok, but it probably wasn’t worth three bucks. But had to have something to wash away all that«food» Our server was pleasant and attentive. And like I said earlier, we and some friends enjoyed the trivia and trivia personalities, three goofy guys who are probably one step from making it as their own morning radio talk show. I unfortunately, will probably be back with friends to play trivia, but I may pack a sandwich next time.
