This is one of those liquor stores that is pricey for no apparent reason other than the fact that they’re a stone’s throw away from the Hill. Everything costs a good 20% more than it should. The convenience of the location would make up for it but service sucks. The older clerk with the tattoos is a real smartass(I mean for a liquor store clerk at least…) and isn’t at all helpful. If only there wasn’t another option close by…

This place is probably one of the nicer liquor stores due to it’s location, it also can be a little sketchy also… due to it’s location. This store is located right next to the Partridge Inn, which makes it nice with it being in a nice neighborhood. However, the thing that makes it sketchy is that it is also located next to the old posh hotel which is now project housing, so you will see a fair bit o hobos. Anyway, back to the store itself. They have some really good wine selection and they are really getting there with the beer selection. They actually went up in my book for having Unibroue beers. Anything from them is golden. Their prices are a little on the pricey side but really if you don’t feel like driving far and want some selection then this place would be the one to go. The staff is super friendly and had some really good suggestions, which I am def gonna take up. They recommended Bells beer since I loved Le Fin Du Monde. I ended up paying about $ 25 for a 12 bottle pack of Yuengling and 4 bottles of Le Fin. so that kinda gives you an idea of their prices. You are basically paying extra for convenience, which is fine with me #365 Unilocal 59⁄365
