this was the first place my husband and i ate upon arriving in the csra and it was pretty good! we really enjoyed the buffalo shrimp app. i ordered my steak rare and it was slightly overdone, but not to the point i needed it redone(i had also asked for it black and blue, but someone forgot). the side selection is a little underwhelming too as it’s mostly starches. we enjoyed everything we ordered though, so we’ll be back!

I ordered a porter house steak well done and it was real pink. They took the steak back and put it on the grill in stead of giving me a new one. Not that stasifed with this at all. The owner said he would take it off the bill. Don’t know if I’m coming back here. Real surprised that a steak house can’t get some right like this at all.

These guy are great! Nothing better than some double fried wings and a side order of Tommy fries. Great food, great atmosphere, great servers, & great managers… what else can you ask for? A definite, local or not.

It’s your average steak place. Good on ambiance and service. The Tbone was tender and flavorful but nothing special. The prime rib was very average and bland. The fries were good and rice pilaf was great. For this area there aren’t that many choices so it will do.

Thank you TBonz for getting our party of 40 in on Saturday night after Outback screwed up our reservation. We had a sports team from Tampa in town for the weekend and after a long day, our athletes and coaches(and parents too) were exhausted and hungry. One of our amazing parents made the call to TBonz to see if they could accommodate us (we were literally outside of Outback, across the street with 40 people). They said that they have a party of 40 leaving shortly from their private room and would be happy to have us. We waited for the party to clear out and the staff immediately went in and cleaned up, changed tablecloths and set out menus. We had several servers and the food and drinks were very good. There were a few minor things — several of us didn’t get our food for quite some time(we think they forgot to put the order in) and 2 of our athletes didn’t get served until after all of us had eaten), but once our food arrived, it was hot and very good. We were so happy to be in a restaurant and out of the cold that we were fine and understood how these things could happen with such a large party. I had the filet and mashed potatoes. The filet was good, but the mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had! The appetizers were all very good(cheese fries, calamari, buffalo shrimp, onion strings). The rest of the restaurant was full, with people coming in and out the entire time we were there, which tells you how popular a place this is.

Last night was my second visit in a year with business associates(I have business in the area but don’t live in Augusta). The first visit was long time ago or passible, I even heard a radio ad on the way to the restaurant. I had the 6 oz filet ‘daily special’ with two sides for $ 17 and sweet tea(extra). Out the door $ 21 plus tip. Tbonz advertises the best steaks on the plant and while the small steak I had was cooked and seasoned well, it plus the sides covered about half the plate. The cole slaw was too rich and not very notable, likely from a vendor. The steamed/boiled broccoli was fine. My complaint was the very slow service for our party of six(no, they weren’t busy) and the quantities for the price. In my opinion, overpriced for what you get.

Always great service and great food. If you’re in the mood for a great steak, there is no better place to go. Everything always comes out cooked exactly the way you ask, and the staff is extremely friendly. Unlike many restaurants, the managers go out of their way to check on you and make sure everyone has a great experience. Definitely the best steak house around!

Pretty good meal. Traditional hokey steakhouse feel. Waiter was nice, and I will say while the drunken ribeye was not overwhelmingly great(should have gotten the regular ribeye) it was cooked perfectly. Salad was alright, potatoes were pretty good. Nothing to complain about, but didn’t rock my world. I’d eat here again though.

Guys from work wanted to go so I went along with them. Firstly they had a sandwich special on a Friday lunchtime — that in itself makes me think things are not good there, Friday lunch time should be one of the busiest times in the week to not have to offer a special. I opted for the ham and cheese melt. It was actually pretty good. I had a baked potato with it which the waitress asked if I wanted it loaded — so I said yes. When I got the bill T-Bonz had actually charged me 1 dollar for that which equated to a big dollop of creamy butter — really. My beef is that the waitress didn’t actually mention that it was extra also you would think an establishment like T-Bonz would be able to load baked potatoes as part of the meal with having to charge extra. The meal took quite a while to come out. Lunch meals should be quick and snappy because people don’t have time to wait because they only have an hour for lunch. The other thing was that the hostess came up to ask us how our meal was and she didn’t even stop to hear the answer from myself. When I looked up my last review — my remark was that the waitress had done this. Whats the point of asking how our meal is if you aren’t going to stop to hear the response !! In the end it was just under 13 bucks for a sandwich with a baked potato, drink and tip. Not a great fan of that. I guess until the next time when work want to go there.

The«Best Steak» found on the sign, is quite an exaggeration. More like mediocre steak. Steak had little flavor and the mashed potatoes are served dry… no gravy, no butter… nada… the service is the saving grace. Our server was very helpful, polite and funny.

Jason, I’m a fan. I’ve got a little bit of a guy crush now(no homo). Your cheese sauce recommendation was spot on. Anyway, the service was great. I COULD speak more for the food but my fiancé ate 90% of what was brought to the table(22oz Porterhouse, whut!?). It was a 1 out of a 1000 chance that she wouldn’t speak during dinner and I’m thankful for that. She was actually gnawing on the bone… While eating… During DINNER.

Okay, came here because they advertise«Best Steakhouse» but I usually go across the street. Ordered the Strip Steak and it arrived quickly. I began trying to cut into it and the grissel through the center was so bad a steak knife couldn’t cut it. Ok, so every place can get a bad cut of meat so I sent it back without taking even one bite. The waitress was great and brought another in about 10 minutes. This one was better but still full of grissel. I didn’t have the heart to ask her to take it back and so just ate what I could. For a place that advertises best steak and hand cut steaks, they have poor quality meats. On the bright side, the cooks did it perfectly, they just didn’t have much to work with. Won’t make this $ 25 mistake again.

Had a delicious meal with the family last night. The kids enjoyed wings. They were large and great meat on the bones. The Tommy fries started the meal off good. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we were had very good service.

Tommy fries were amazing. I would highly reccomend them. The steak was great too. 22 oz porterhouse cooked to perfection. Ate here 2 years in a row and not dissapointed either time.

In my opinion, the best time to come in is during happy hour. Happy hour is 4 – 7 and have good specials on food and drinks. Wings are 6.00 for 10 and buffalo shrimp is 5.00. Unfortunately, the specials are only for the bar area so you can imagine how quickly it gets packed.

I hadn’t been to Tbonz in years, since they were on Gordon Highway. I forgot how good their wings were. My grandmother loved those wings. She would send us all the time to get her an order of wings. So I thought about that and decided to check out the Washington Rd location. I had never been to this one, so this was a new adventure for me. I was greeted promptly and seated quickly. The décor of the restaurant is very rustic and cozy. The restaurant wasn’t crowded when I came to dine about 3 other tables were dining in as well. I glanced over the menu knowing I wanted the wings but I wanted something else to go with them. I decided on a Tbonz Steak sandwich and vegetable medley to go along with it. The waitress put in the order and brought out bread. I can’t recall did they serve bread at the old restaurant but I don’t think they did. I am a bread fanatic and usually fill up on bread before my meal, but this time it was different. I didn’t like their bread at all. I don’t know what it was but I wasn’t quite right for my palate. I only ate one loaf and that’s a surprise. The wings came out first. The wings were on the money as usual. That tasted just as good as before. I devoured those. Then my order finally arrived and it looked appetizing except for the big olé’ red peppers in the vegetable medley. When did they become a part of that dish. I picked all of those out and ate the more traditional vegetables. The steak sandwich looked good but that was about it. Being that this was a steakhouse I assume that they would give more quality piece of steak. My steak was so fatty that it was so hard to even eat it with the bread!!! I will never order that again!!! I hate fatty steak. I pretty much lost my appetite off that. The service was pretty good but the food was not up to par except for the wings. I’m on the fence on if I should try other things or just give up on this restaurant for good. They do have other things besides steak but that steak they brought me put a damper on the whole experience!!!

Had a fantastic meal tonight. Everything was spot on. Their seafood platter is great. Big piece of crispy fried fish, plump and crispy fried shrimp, and a tasty crab cake. The onion rings were perfect too. Stephanie was our server and did a super job at taking care of us. Right there for drink refills and very friendly. We were in a rush and she made sure we were served quickly and had the check ready even before I asked for it. I had been here for happy hours before and the short menu in the bar is really good. The fried shrimp is a good sized portion and at $ 6 is very hard to pass up and the double fried chicken wings are super crispy and delicious. Can you tell that I like crispy??? Looking forward to the next visit. It will be very soon.

Ordered a Buffalo Shrimp appetizer and Double fried Wings. It was a decent meal until I saw the bill: 29 damn dollars is A LOT for shrimp and wings no fries no drink! The breading was falling off the shrimp as I picked them up and the wings were super crispy. Good but not great. If the wings were spicy that would have helped… I’m sure they have good food as expensive as their prices were but I won’t be returning.

I usually like this place but they seem to be off their game for lunch today. Our server is not friendly at all and has yet to crack a smile. The Roasted Chicken comes with«kale slaw» which turns out to be coleslaw with one tiny speck of kale. I hate misleading descriptions. Otherwise food was good. Roasted chicken was moist and well seasonedand not dry or greasy. My Dad asked to have the shrimp grilled instead of fried and got nice sized, well seasoned shrimp. All good except that darn Kale Slaw. Just call it what it is… Coleslaw.
