My favorite liquor store in Augusta! Huge selection and great customer service. Really good wines as well. We love coming here and making a 6 pack with guidance from the staff. They always have good suggestions. As a female I feel totally comfortable coming in by myself at all hours unlike the majority of liquor stores. Really nice and classy place. Happy to have it nearby.

This liquor store is awesome. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable and always willing to offer advice on what you might be looking for. I came in there during the holidays and bought a lot of liquor to stock up, and the guys here were super nice and friendly. The guy behind the counter was even nice enough to carry the massive amount of liquor I bought out to my car for me. I normally don’t ask anyone to do that, but he just started doing it after they rang me up so I was like sure why not. Really can’t say enough good things about the staff here, just awesome. They also have a great selection of liquor, wine, and beer. Definitely check them out!

Best customer service ever. They actually know their products and how they taste. They don’t hover and are always very warm and helpful. The selection of craft beer is to die for, as well as the whisky and scotch selections. Best shop for spirits, for sure.

The parking sucks sometimes on a Saturday night but the selection and knowledgeable staff is great if you’re coming in with a person who doesn’t know what they want. They have a main room for liquor and beers and a separate area for just wines. I could literally spend 20 minutes perusing the wines alone but the reason I come is for the beers. Beer isn’t like scotch to me-you can’t go wrong picking out a new one every week. I’m like a kid in a candy store when I see new labels or colors or regions featured and I’ve usually never been lead astray. Now their bourbon selection is a little weak and thats the reason I’m knocking them down a star. I asked for a special bottle and it took them over 5 weeks to get it in when they said 2. Boo! I had to get the bottle from another place in the meantime but 5 weeks is way too long.

From what I’ve found so far, they have the best beer selection in town. We have come back here several times for Shiner Ruby Red alone. They are all super helpful in the store. Most importantly, they carry Not Your Father’s Root Beer! Perfect timing since National Root Beer Float day is right around the corner(August 6th if anyone is wondering)! It looks like they have a pretty decent liquor and wine selection as well, just have only gone for beer so far! Will be back to try more!

The best thing about going into stores like this is that you can always find something new on a trip there. I enjoy going in there to see the selection and find items that are not usually stocked where I live. I was very surprised that they had some cachaca in stock. I am trying to get a bit more into wine and it pains me that I cannot remember her name but she was of great help in suggesting a few bottles to start my wine adventures with. If you are looking for bourbon or a large selection of commercial shine this place is it. There is a pretty good selection of various beers from your common ones to locally made IPAs.

Decent wine selection for Augusta. Just checking it out to see if I could find something here that I can’t in Charlotte. I did buy 6 wines, but the help I initially got was from a part time guy who honestly didn’t know that much about their wines. I was«rescued» by Ginny who was more knowledgeable as she recommended a few wines that I took home. Not a bad wine selection for a small market like Augusta, but not as good as I remember the old Wine World being either.

Best place to pick up a bottle of wine in the area. Various selections and bottles you can’t find at the average store. Friendly, helpful staff.

This was a very nice store. The staff was exceptional, one of the gentleman carried my beer to my car. I would recommend this store.

Holy moly! One would get drunk just walking through the door. In my short time in the CSRA, toast wine and beverage has become my favorite liquor joint. The place has an amazing selection of darn near any liquor your heart may desire, and their craft beer selection is no slouch. The store has a true air of elegance, and it is only brought forward more by the incredible customer service. When I couldn’t find a specific banana liquor, the guy helping me jumped up and went to look for it on his computer… and when I halfway expected him to go play candy crush or something, he didn’t forget about me! To top it off he asked what I liked, and not only offered to pop open cases of beer so I could buy individual bottles, but then directed me to find local whisky and home brew clubs! Blew my mind! Come thirsty, my friends.

First visit today and I think hubby and I found our new place for happy hour drinks! We are used to having BEVMO around to complete all our drinking needs but this place comes close considering it is Augusta. We are from San Diego and are biased toward Stone Brewery beers(literally lived within 15 mins from the brewery) but Toast actually carries a good selection of their beers. Yay! Came out with lots-o-beer and lots-o-wine. They are open until 10pm but are closed on Sundays.(Waah) just need to plan my drinking better.

Great store. I’m not a drinker by any means, but my husband sends me here to pick up a newly added craft beer. Employees are readily available for assistance and they always do it with a smile. Just the other day a young man helped me choose a couple of beers to make beer bread for grill cheese sandwiches. He actually took a moment to research the web before pointing out a couple of brands. It was greatly appreciated and my bread turned out amazing. I even used an extra can to make carne guisada the following night.

I had the privilege of traveling to the beautiful Porto region of Portugal a short while ago, tried all kinds of amazing Port wines, bought an incredible bottle of Tawny Port, and then swiftly had it confiscated by Customs upon reentry into the states. Blerg. We came here for a replacement bottle and were really happy with the good service and the prices. I thought maybe I’d stump the staff by asking if they had any spicy beers, but no! In addition to my wine, I left with a bottle of chili beer that, as the clerk said it would, tasted just like spicy nachos. Nice. Very happy with this store, we’ll definitely be back!

Great selection. The prices are about what you’d expect, but they have things here we cant find anywhere else. Rye whiskey, mead, gose, scotch, lots of beer. Stuff from local breweries we couldn’t find anywhere else. You can also mix and match your own 6 pack from any beer in their vast selection.

This other Package Store in Evans used to be my favorite liquor store in the CSRA until I rediscovered Toast. So it was 20th of December 2012, or Doomsday Eve, as some others referred to it. I sat in my room, skeptically realizing that the world could end in the next 13 hours and 14 minutes. So I decided to borrow my friend’s car and visit the local liquor store since this seemed like a perfect excuse to buy Unibroue’s «La Fin du Monde» and get drunk on a Wednesday night. 15 minutes and one near death experience driving in a mini-storm later, I came back to my room disappointed because the store stopped carrying the not-so-delicious apocalyptic lees beer brewed by Canadiennes and owned by the Nipponese. So, I decided to man up and drive on down to Fury’s Ferry, a.k.a. CSRA’s little slice of Upper-Middle-Class-Products-You-Can-Probably-Find-More-Generic-Stuff-For-Cheaper-At-Kroger’s. Two and a half near death experiences later, I walked into the store in time to buy 50 dollars worth in: Shock Top End of the World Midnight Wheat(Yuck) Unibroue La Fin du Monde(«End of the World») Dogfish Head Raison D’être(«Reason for Being») Dogfish Head Theobroma(Ancient ale brewed with ingredients used by Aztecs/Mayans) My silly anecdote aside, Toast more than generously meets any Dogfish Head/Ommegang enthusiasts needs in stock;(other than those auspicious brews that are technically not legal in the state of GA) they also carry your variety in German/Belgian and oriental beers and craft brews(they also sell Samichlaus here.) But here’s the most relevant part of the review. They have a very formidable collection of Scotch including but not limited to: Lagavulin, Ardbeg, Highland Park, 12yo/18yo Oban, a 26 yo Cask Strength Macallan(priced at 600+ dollars), 18yo Laphroaig, Springbank, Bowmore. They also have a very wide selection of inferior whisk(e)y i.e. Bourbon and Irish Whiskey, and your mother’s stock in hard liquor. This place also doesn’t overcharge on Scotch like my former favorite place used to.

I’m a sucker for the stand alone wine shop. And they have a good selection. Pricier than some places, but not too bad. Oh, and other beverages as well… very nice.
