Great selection of wines and cheeses. Owners are super-nice. Check out their wine tastings(you can find the schedule on their website). I always leave the tasting with at least one bottle!

While on vacation in Maine we needed to pick up some wine as a gift and this place was recommended. Fantastic discovery! An absolute gem in Augusta. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, & friendly. While there, a couple of regulars came in, they liked their previous choices and were looking for something new. It was a cool discussion to hear. And the cheese… oh my! To die for. A week later and I’m still thinking about the buffalo cheese. and the cranberry goat cheese. The shop may be small, but the selection weeds out the misses for you. I wish Uncorked was in my town.

Oh my my, two of my most desired things in one place. I love love love this little shop. What a gem in Augusta. We stop in here when we are in vacation in the area. Seems we stop in more and more each time. Get enough for a few days and then come back for more. Great selection of cheese, wine, and good brews. You can even sample the cheese before buying to insure you like it! Go ahead you know you want to! Throw a cheesy wine party and ask the owner to help you select some great selections!

Well, it’s official — Uncorked is 5 stars great! Since my initial visit I have had the opportunity to attend two tastings here and they were both a lot of fun! The most recent one I attended featured a plethora of uncommon sparkling wines, including a very unique maple-flavored one from Oakland, Maine! I ended up taking home a delicious bottle of cava and a jar of goats milk caramel. The cheese selection is also worth noting. I came in wanting to add an interesting piece to my mother’s Thanksgiving cheese plate and Kim was able to recommend a very tasty goat cheese from Spain(wish I could remember the name!). It seems like she has a cheese for every taste and it’s definitely worth popping in to sample the wares. Bottom-line: Uncorked is truly an oasis in Augusta and is definitely worth a stop if you’re even the slightest bit interested in wine or cheese!
