Pour House Saloon

I’ve been in here a few times now, just recently moving to the area. And I work for a local restaurant that delivers to this bar, and every single time I’ve been in, not only is everyone completely wasted but pretty much every time I’ve been there there have been minors. By minors I mean children. And I just chalked it up to small town shenanigans. Tonight, after a hard day at work, me and my husband went in for a few beers. I don’t know if it was because we are not «regulars» yet or what, but at closing time as we were finishing our beers (after paying our bill & leaving a more than healthy tip) we were cornered by several drunk people (one of them being the owner) telling us to leave. We were more than willing to leave, there were at least 15 other people there (many getting their drinks in to — go containers) and the clock was on our side… we asked to finish our beers and were treated as though we were being violent. We sacrificed the remainder of our beers and politely asked for a refund when a man who identified himself as the owner (drunk) threw a hundred dollar bill at us and told us to «shove it up our asses & get the fuck out» while the locals circled us telling us to go. We were quite taken aback, feeling that the behavior was unnecessary. Of course we refused the money and left. I’ve only been to this bar at night, and every time the bartenders are as drunk as the patrons. I’ve bartended for nearly 20 years, this is bad. BAD!
