Thank god they tore the old building down and completely rebuilt it. The old building was looking grimy and I never wanted to shop there. Now that this new building is open I don’t feel gross when I go inside. It’s super clean and organized so I don’t feel the need to shower when leaving. I come here for snacks and nothing else. I watch my niece and nephews on a daily basis and anyone that babysits will tell you that children are always hungry. I come here to stock up on snack foods at a great price. They have all the basic food items that you will find anywhere else except they’re Aldi brand rather than name brand. I don’t see much of the difference between quality here vs anywhere else. It’s all the same stuff they just have different brand names. Any place that allows me to walk out with 2 weeks worth of snacks for a great price is alright with me. Just so you know: bring your own bags because they do charge you for them.

Tidbit: Aldi’s is the parent company of Trader Joe’s I’m not sure why they tore down and rebuilt this Aldi, but they did and it reopened at the beginning of this month. It’s clean and well organized. If you live locally, you might have received a door hanger coupon for $ 5 off $ 30. That’s like a pint at a local pub, win! This Aldi has a small section of wine collection. $ 3 for a bottle of Winking Owl, I gave it a shot. It’s the cheapest bottle of wine I’ve ever purchased(I don’t suppose they make them any cheaper than that). I normally stay away from cheap wine because they tend to give me the worst headaches, but this bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon was actually decent and I came away headache free. It’s a bit light on the body, semi-dry, and has a clean taste. I’d say it makes one heck of a table wine. The bottle label reads«subtle flavors of blackberry, plum, toasted oak and a hint of vanilla.» Their produce may not be the freshest all the time, so you have to really inspect the item before putting it into your cart. I was trying to find a package of strawberries without mold, but gave up and went with the blackberries instead.
