Apollo RV Rentals

Our experience with Apollo in Denver/​Aurora was poor. Upon check in we had to wait a long time. Soon they started to check us in; however, Matthew (Branch Manager) started yelling at the employee using the computer for being «incompetent.» This was unprofessional and awkward. Matthew later apologized to the employee in front of everyone, but the situation was unprofessional. We then checked out our RV and none of the awnings worked. Apollo could do nothing to resolve the non-​working awnings. We decided to accept the RV as we were already very late getting on the road due to the slowness of Apollo. Additionally, our RV did not have a license plate. It had a dealer certificate in the front window that is a dealer certificate for the state of California. It is not a temporary license. I don’t think this is entirely legal as we are not dealers driving the RV. The RV should have proper licensing. Additionally, at this time we inquired of the gentlemen checking us out if we could drop the RV back on Sunday (they are closed on Sunday) and then have my father come back in on Monday to check in the vehicle during business hours. The gentlemen assured us that this was acceptable.
On Sunday we parked the RV at the Apollo lot. An employee of the towing business next door (the towing business shares common ownership) asked us to park the RV in an area that said no parking on the Apollo lot. We verified that this was an appropriate place to park the RV despite the sign and he said that it was. In fact, he had us move it from a different place to this location.
Then on Monday morning the branch Manager, Matthew, called yelling at me about parking the RV at the location. He made a bunch of demands that were contrary to what his employees had told me. He eventually hung up on me. His supervisor later called back and we worked it all out, but Apollo should be accountable to what their agents told me: location to park the vehicle, ability to drop off the vehicle on Sunday and then come back to check it in on Monday, and ability to have my father check in the vehicle.
