Our first visit to this restaurant was fantastic! The staff was extremely friendly and the owner mingled with his customers throughout the night. The food is very good with generous portions.

I have been going to this restaurant for about 6 yrs. The food was always great and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, they have moved locations and also put in a bar. Good, right? Not really. The bar tender has so many tables to wait on that he is never behind the bar to serve patrons drinks. The food is still good, but takes FOREVER to eat. It’s really a shame they ruined a good thing. I can’t go back.

This place is awesome. authentic Italian cuisine at it’s finest. We ordered an XL Spinach Pizza for our party of 4 and didn’t even come close to finishing it. It was enormous and extremely tasty. Easily the best pizza I have had since moving to the area, possibly ever. I will definitely be going back for more!

Armando’s isn’t great or amazing, but it is decent. I had the special the night I came here, the seafood risotto with a caesar salad. The rice in the risotto was a little under, it could have used a few more minutes to al dente. The clams, mussels, and shrimp were good, but not what I’m used to since I live in San Diego where the majority of our seafood is perfectly fresh. The saffron sauce was wonderful and brought the whole dish together splendidly. The caesar salad was very disappointing, sub par would be an understatement. However the garlic knots were delicious and everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their dishes too. Specifically the spinach pie seemed to be a big hit. I probably won’t be coming here again on the account that I live in San Diego and was only in CO for this past week, but if I’m ever back there it is a place I would consider going to again.

This place has delicious food and is reasonably priced for the portions you get. Our server was friendly and she was well-timed in her rounds for refilling drinks. The only complaint I have is that their garlic knots and garlic bread definitely needs more garlic as you could barely taste it. Other than that, the food was great. I highly recommend the spaghetti carbonara!

As a student at smoky hill, I went here for lunch, once, and will never go back after the way I was treated. I split a pizza with three other people and one of us wanted a soda. The three of us were cheep students, so we didn’t want anything to drink but water. When we ordered the soda, we were rudely informed of how my freind could not get refils since four of us only ordered one drink. Confused and a little angry we forgot to get water cups. Later I went up and asked for water glasses. The man gave me a good 10 minitue lecture on how each cup with a lid and straw cost him two cents. He then gave me one paper cup and nothing else. The whole time we were treated like we were not paying customers.

Fantastic Italian restaurant, love it! Menu ranges from classy Italian to pizza, and at this location, pizza is king. it is somewhat small, and has a total casual pizzeria atmosphere, but don’t let that fool you. the real Italian dishes are well made and tasty. They have another location at Parker Rd. and Lincoln that has much more of a classy, fine-dining feel to it, but this is much closer, more casual, and just as good!

The only reason I’m giving Armando’s 4 stars instead of 5 is because we got there at 6pm on Friday night and by 6:15 they were out of the«special» Braciole… I really wanted to try that! I guess we’re going to have to get there earlier if we want to try any specials. I ended up having the lasagna with a dinner salad, and it was excellent! My hubby had the spinich ravioli that was served on a bed of spinach and he thought it was fantastic! We had a meatball and sausage on the side and they were tasty too! The garlic knots were pretty good, not great… needed more garlic and butter! It was very crowded and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but the takeout crowd was really making it crowded! we had the misfortune of being seated right next to the stairs at the entrance, so we had people literally standing next to our table! In spite of this, our service was excellent, the cannoli we had for dessert was scrumptious and we were happy that they had the Avavanche game on! We will definitely be going back, pizza will be our next menu choice… it looked sooo good!

Once again, I am disappointed with Armando’s. I love the pizza, but noticed the portions are getting smaller and tonight the size of the Lg Mediterranean Salad was ridiculous. For eight bucks, you couldn’t even fill a salad bowl. I mentioned it when I picked up our order and ask if they were sure this was a large salad and she confirmed it was. My husband and I hate when restaurants get a great following then start reducing their portion size or changing the quality of their ingredients. The last time I complained that the order they gave me was incorrect, they blamed me. Time to look for a new favorite.

I was psyched that my girlfriend talked this place up because she had used to live near there and went there regularly. My excitement didn’t last for either of us. The«garlic» knots didn’t taste like garlic. The men’s room was DARK. The large salad was a complete joke compared to other Italian joints(what about cheese, pepperoni, and olives if you like them?). The notably small serving size that was SPOTLIGHTED by a gigantic plate. There are two ways they could go with this: 1) Continue to be CHEAP and use smaller plates so I DON’T SEE what I’m NOT getting. or 2) up the serving size A COUPLEOFCENTS and give me a little more pasta. Either way, FAIL. I can’t say I’ll ever be back. Well. maybe I’d try their pizza takeout. Before you start crying that your favorite restaurant has gone down the toilet, I will say this: Excellent service. Sarah was great and sets the standard. Excellent food. I had pasta with a meat. Right on par with other high quality restaurants. In summation, the taste and service are the only two things that saved this place from a «I’d rather take 20 bucks and wipe my derrière with it» rating. Pasquini’s puts these guys to shame, everytime, all the time, BIG time. From their atmosphere, serving sizes, to their salad ingredients Armando’s has A LOT of work to do.

The garlic rolls here are orgasmic. seriously. The baked ziti was scrumptious. The waitress was sweet and helpful. the service was a little slow, but for food this good I’m more than willing to wait — especially when there were rolls to nibble on.

I have been going to Armandos on and off for 15 years. The food is consistently good, the pasta and baked dishes are great — always fresh and good. Armando is a real New Yorker and it shows in his work. Dont let the location fool you, this one is a gem.

First time going here. Like the atmosphere. Very cozy. Menu has many options and a good deal of those don’t involve meat! I’m not a vegatarian by any means, but for the most part I just enjoy cheese with my pastas. It’s a little pricier that expected for the dinners, but the pizzas are reasonable. I got the cheese manicotti while my boyfriend had the meat lovers Sicilian(sp?) pizza. The manicotti was delicious! I plan on getting it again. The pizza was a bit salty and the whole twice bakined thing with Sicillian pizza was a little strange. Given that it was our first time trying it, it wasnt bad. Just very new. Will be back. ;-)

AMAZING! Had the Chicken Parmigiana for lunch. I’m not big on Italian food, but maybe it’s because I’ve never eaten at Armando’s. I can’t wait to get hungry again!!!

Armando’s is worthy of 5 stars! I have been here at least 6 times since February and it is consistently delicious! I don’t think it’s possible to get better Italian food unless you have a little old Italian grandma in your kitchen! The linguine with white claim sauce is so yummy! I had to order it twice in a row! Every dish I have had here was just wonderful and the service is very good and friendly.

This place has really good pizza and pasta. The pizza always has a nice and crunchy crust. The eggplant parmesan, veal parmesan, and meatballs are very delicious! We always order one of the parmesans and a pizza, so we aren’t very sure how the rest of the menu is, but I am sure it’s all really good! If you’re thinking of getting dessert, the CHOCOLATECAKEISTHEBEST!

I give them five stars simply because they have never changed in the nearly 20 years I have been going there. My parents started taking us there in the late 80s, and I have been going back as much as possible. I remember when I was in highschool, going there for a slice of pizza every now and then. Fast forward to now, I introduced Armando’s to my wife, and she fell in love after the first bite. My favorite? Well, that’s a difficult question. Something I’ve always found as comfort food is the Pasta Aglio e Olio. If you’re in the mood for good Italian food and you are in the area, this is the place to go.

I was in the mood for some red sauce and a meatball atop a mound of pasta… you know, American Italian food. Armando’s hit the spot. I could see being a regular at this come as you are neighborhood joint if it was actually in my neighborhood. Armando’s will probably never make the cover of Bön Apetit, but sometimes a hearty plate of homemade spaghetti is all a guy wants.
