Associated Optical

I chose this office because it was close to me and was in my network. It was the biggest mistake I could have made. When I walked in the office it was empty. The Hispanic receptionist made me wait over 15 minutes while she was on the phone not even acknowledging my presence. After being seen by the doctor we were escorted to the waiting room to choose eyeglasses. When I shared that I didn’t feel they had enough variety and would just like a print out of the prescription the indian gentlemen brushed me off. I then went to the receptionist and asked her for a copy and she acted as if I was inconvenienceing her and asked if she could mail it to me. I said no that I would like to have it now. She never responded and I continued to wait for my son’s eyes to dilate to be re seen. After another 10 minutes I asked for the prescription again and was told I couldn’t have it until the doctor saw him again. At this point my patience had been exceeded and I ended up walking out of the office. Overall I was very disappointed with their customer service and how slow they were about taking care of their customers needs.

I decided to get my eye exam somewhere different and chose Associated Optical because it was close to my house. Dr. Rovenstine answered all my questions and managed to identify a fairly strong astigmatism that was missed in previous eye exams at a local chain eye clinic. The rest of the staff was also incredibly nice. They took a fair amount of time to help me pick out a new set of frames. I’m sold! I’ll be going back here for all my subsequent eye exams.
