Best Buy – North Aurora

Usually when I come in to Best Buy, floor sales people are swarming me. Just now, in this one, I walked in and absolutely nobody offered to help me. There were other customers, but they were not terribly busy. I stood in the tablet area for about seven or eight minutes all by myself. Never again.

The staff are extremely kind and helpful at this Best Buy. They were super patient when I was trying to explain the exact adapter that I wanted. It strikes me that this location doesn’t have as much selection as some other locations in the region, but it makes up for that deficit with a very clean store and fantastic service. I’ll probably come back here sometime.

I’m torn here between 3 and 4 stars. Another example where it would be nice if Unilocal offered ½ stars. But they don’t so we rate them accordingly. On this particular occasion, I walked in for a specific set of bluetooth ear buds I had seen on sale and online. I found the last pair on the shelf, but they were marked at the regular price. So, I asked an associate (Kaybeth) if I had to stand in the store and order them for pickup online or if I could just get them for that price. She told me they do have «Online Price match». She looked it up on her phone, saw them at the sale price online, and volunteered to go ring me up at the sale price. I accepted, but noticed the price rang up at regular price, and she had to key in the sale price. This was fine with me since I knew they were on sale online. But word to the less informed… always check online here to see if it’s advertised at a reduced price. If I hadn’t known, I would have been left paying the full price. To me, it’s nice that they do a price match. But on the otherhand, shouldn’t they offer that to everyone? It’s not like a store is price matching another store. They’re essentially price matching themselves so spread the sale… emmaright?

The staff here are pleasant and helpful. I have had a few warranty repairs, which they have excelled at handling. I am very willing to continue to shop at this location. Their reward system rocks.
