Owner is wonderful, staff is full of a bunch of sweet guys. Very convenient hours of operation. Store is kept clean, they allow me to bring my dog in. Prices on cigarettes and liquor are very reasonable.

They took $ 82.02 out of my account on a $ 41.01 purchase. My bank has informed me that this can be «standard practice» because some merchants like to make sure the money is in the account before running the card so they «use a pre-authorization» which basically means they tie up your funds (NOT THEIR FUNDS, YOUR FUNDS) to ensure they get their money.
While it isn’t illegal, it is certainly unethical. Taking 80.00 for a 40 dollar purchase and «holding it for a few days» should be against the law. I will not be shopping at this vendor ever again and if you don’t want your funds held for «pre-authorization», I suggest you shop elsewhere also.
