Love their stock but it really really disappoints me that they don’t take AMEX. Also the markup on smokes is ridiculous. Would come here 10 times out of 10 if they changed only those two things. Oh and they should be open until midnight too. Makes it hard to vote no to allowing grocery stores to carry.

Usually the folks here are helpful. Once I was looking for something that they didn’t have and someone offered to try and order it and suggested substitutions. Not today. I asked for help in finding a specific liqueur and if they carried it. All I got was a dismissive «no» and someone walking away without any attempt to understand what I was looking for and if there were similar items. For this type of service there is no reason not to shop in the grocery stores.

Great selection of spirits. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They’ll take the time to talk to you, find out what you’re looking for, make recommendations, and just shoot the breeze if they have the time. You feel more like family there than just a customer.

My husband and love this place, they always have a good selection and the staff are always friendly.

They specially ordered a couple of things for me and called prompt when they came in. They have a lot of things on sale all the time. Lines are never long. Love this store and the well stocked inventory.

Have I told you lately why I am such a fan of Chambers Wine and go out of my way to shop for my booze here? Yes, it’s an amazing selection of beer and reasonably-​priced wines (not to mention an impressive array of wines) but by far it’s the staff here. They are actually glad to see you and have fun working here. (Okay I don’t know if they actually «have fun» working there but they are super pleasant, look you in the eye, take a bit of time with you and say «thank you» before you leave). That counts for a lot in my book. That’s why I keep going back. I have been going around the corner to my neighborhood liquor store for about 3 years now (support local businesses!) but even after 3 years they barely acknowledge me. So the friendly service at Chambers is what wins me over. Get signed up with a Chambers discount card and you’ll earn some bonus discounts, too. And Nick’s picks on wine are fun to try.

I realize that most of the reviews on here have been positive but I can’t say the same. I have been here on several occasions and have never been pleased. The selection is good but often the beer is lukewarm. My big gripe is some of the staff. Some of the staff working the registers seem to act as though you are inconveniencing them. I won’t be back. Get some decent cashiers. I am sick of the attitudes. This is probabaly considered a good liquor store for Aurora but that isn’t saying much. I will gladly go out of my way to avoid this place.

Best liquor store for selection, price, rewards and specials. They will place specialty orders, and also carry a great selection of kegs both domestic and craft, in multiple sizes.
This store carries my favorite craft beer, Old Rasputin, which is somewhat hard to find among most liquor stores. Additionally they have ordered, and continued to carry, some of my favorite whiskeys and liquors.
The rewards program is pretty much like getting 10% back on purchases, as well as promotions that the store puts up each week, tastings from vendors, and holiday events.
The staff here has always been very helpful and friendly, not only helping to find liquors and beers, but also giving some good advice that shows they really do know their stuff. Plenty of times I have asked one of their staff for an opinion, and rather than giving me a line of bull, they’ll tell me if they don’t know, or if there is another employee who is better than them to give advice.

I always have a good experience coming here. They have great prices and have a great selection of wine. I usually order by the case and I get lots of help choosing and taking it out to my car.

Sold me expired beer! It expired a couple months ago. Obviously I didn’t check the date on it cause I bought it Christmas eve and planned it drink it the next day. Complete waste of money, $ 24! Will bring my business to a store that has better management/​organization of their inventory.

Great selection of discounted liquor. The owner is a really cool guy. This is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood and I’d like to consider it a smaller version of Argonaut with cheaper, unbeatable prices!

They always have a large selection of beer, wine, and liquor. The staff is extremely helpful and is always willing to go above and beyond to help the customers out.
During the holiday’s this joint gets PACKED. Peeps in Aurora love some holiday libations! This isn’t my home liquor store, but if I am in the area, I will definitely stop by. Along with that, their rewards program is pretty good. This is a great way to retain customers and get repeat business. The small things that make people return to your location for repeat business. Extremely important, especially when there is a liquor store on almost every corner in Denver.

This is my Go-​To LQ for wine! I usually am able to find all my favorite wines here, and this is the best place to stock up for the holidays! Great customer service, but it can get busy before a holiday/​big game, but they are great about having enough people on staff to help out!

Found this store while on a search for copper mugs for my Mom’s birthday. I called and they were super helpful and outlined the various sizes they carry and the pricing.
When I came in to the shop, I was blown away at its size. I immediately found the copper mugs and sales staff were very helpful in getting them from the glass case for me. The 2 pack is the best deal ($ 42) and the mugs are huge. I also liked how the handles were wider for easier holding.
The cooler section has coolers and ciders that I’ve never heard of and prices are comparable to other shops. I slowly meandered around to find a porter beer for my husband and immediately a sales staff was right there, offering assistance.
This shop is great, convenient, and has amazing staff. Just a note that they don’t accept Amex though. Otherwise I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Does it make me sound like an alacholic saying I love having this place so close to me? In my area I have found the best prices here by far.
They have a great selection, I spent an hour in here the last time just looking around at all the stuff they have.
They have great deals as well, a Manager’s big deal, a buyer’s cub which is basically a card you register for and you get a discount and coupons!!! Now who doesn’t love a coupon!!!
One of the things I like the most is the Chilled Wine Room. Lots and lots of bottles of already chilled wine, it’s a little slice of paradise. Chambers Wine & Liquor is Aurora’s largest liquor store with over 15,000 square feet and 8,000 different products to choose from.
For me, they have always had what I was looking for so it’s tops on my list. They have always been helpful when asked and are speedy to get you in and out of there even with the busy holiday season.

My «go to» place for most of my wine, liquor & beer purchases.
Occasionally I will stop in at other smaller places that are closer to where I am headed, but for most of my purchases Chambers Wines & Liquors is convenient, very well-​stocked, prices are excellent with good sales (get on their newsletter mailing list for additional specials!), and their customer service is tops.
There is plenty of parking, although getting in and out of the lot is sometimes difficult — it is a very busy corner!
