Have never ate such disgusting food ever. The Szechuan-style food is not the way that they cooked. They simply stir-fried red pepper and salt for every dish. Salty and not healthy. Can not distinguish pork and beef by taste. Not real Chinese food. Besides, waitress was rude. Be careful!

Let me start out by saying the one star is generous and only because the hot and sour soup was OK, and the rice was OK. Oh and my food was ready to go in 10 minutes like I was told. I ordered take out, asked for chicken in garlic sauce and hot and sour soup. First…Evidentially I pulled the wrong menu, because when she gave me my total I almost passed out and I questioned the price; I was told it was an old menu, probably more than five years old. The problem was that I could not find another menu that was any more recent. Asian food, prices go up in the evening, I was still ok. My order was repeated back to me and I was told 10 minutes… Second…Instead of chicken in garlic sauce I was given curry chicken with vegetables. Gahhhhh… I was already at my destination when I found out. I never thought twice about my order being wrong because along with the comment about looking at an old menu, she again repeated my order… Third…I called to explain the situation and asked if they could deliver the correct order to my current location, less than a block away, I was told NO… I ordered curry chicken and she was busy. WTF, $ 16 for my soup and entrée and you can’t give me a little customer service? I told her I would be back a little later and would expect the meal that I originally ordered and paid for… I sure hope the attitude has changed! Horrible customer service is a huge pet peeve of mine… I was bringing myself, a new customer, to spend money at China Jade and was treated so poorly that I will not be back and I will tell everyone I know about how I was treated. Next time I will give my hard earned money to a business that appreciates their customers! Ps…I will be back tonight to get what I paid for, you have one and only one chance to change my mind about your restaurant. I am guessing you probably don’t care, so I will just take my chicken in garlic sauce and won’t return! Update 12÷30÷15, 9pm… went back to restaurant after my event, explained my situation to a different person. The situation was made right and I received the correct order, chicken with garlic sauce and an apology! I really appreciate that they made this right, thank you.

This was my second visit to China Jade, and it was a disappointment. The Thai Curry Chicken was nothing more than a large helping of potatoes, chicken bits, and red pepper. The flavor was all right, but a dish that is mainly potatoes is not what I’ve come to expect in an Asian restaurant. Perhaps another dish would have been better. The wait staff was courteous and I’ve no complaints on that score, but do not expect to go back. There are too many better choices in Aurora.

This is a terrible restaurant! Beware! The taste was OK, but the service was truly the worst I have ever had! Even the restroom was broken and while we were using the employee’s restroom, and the boss was pounding the door asking us to go out. Extremely rude! And then we all had diarrhea when we got home including the kids!!! This restaurant really needs to improve its hygiene to meet the basic standard.

If your looking for some good authentic Chinese food this place is great! I love how you just order a bunch of food and share it. The eggplant in garlic was amazing. Definitely going back!

I was not impressed with this place. The platic water glass needs to be replaced. They do have different and unique menue items. The service was very lacking. The prices were expensive. The card machine was broke and I had to pay cash. Good thing I did have enough but what if I didn’t.

So… forget the«whitey» menu except for sesame chicken with is crispy and deslih. Stick with the authentic Sichuanese menu. Crispy green beans, steamed dumplings(Tian Jin delicacy) fish tasting pork(weird name but soooo good). i lived in Beijing for over a decade and this place is the only one in Denver where the dishes truly taste authentic and delicious. Try the fish too, don;t be afraid to venture into new and different foods but keep to the authentic menu, you will discover some truly wonderful dishes. The place is a whole in the wall in Aurora strip mall but clean and recently renovated. Make sure you order Qing Dao beer that goes nicely with spicy dishes. Service is quick and courteous.

!!! Unreal. Please do it. This is not Panda Express !!! Meet a Chinese guy at the BBQ place next to H mart. He told me about this place. The twiced cooked pork was the real deal. Nothing like the crap all the normal American Chinese places serve.

For those looking for authentic Sichuan food, look no further than China Jade. The store-front is very unassuming(yes, it’s the place that has frosted glass without a very obvious front door), but when you walk inside you know you’re in business because many of the patrons are Chinese students. Food/Beverages: There are two menus — the authentic Chinese menu and the Americanized Chinese menu. The authentic Chinese menu is two pages, but has enough for multiple visits. My favorites include the kidney(could use a bit more peppers and onions, but you do get a good helping of delicious kidney), the fried large intestines, and their sweet potato leaves with minced garlic. I actually think they do vegetables the best of all the Chinese places I’ve gone to. The flavors are great, and for those interested in heat, you can definitely find it here. Ambiance: Clean, utilitarian with some touches of «Asian-esque» pictures up on the far right wall. Seating available for small and larger groups. Also, as mentioned above, the exterior has frosted glass so you can’t actually see into the restaurant. Don’t be deterred, just open the door and walk in. Service: Can be slow, especially around dinner when the customers start rolling in. Don’t expect them to wait hand and foot here and take initiative if you need your rice or tea refilled. Pricing: A little bit on the pricier side(as compared to HKBBQ) but some certain dishes are worth paying a little extra. Hours: Closed on Tuesdays! Don’t make the mistake that I’ve made several times going there hungry on Tuesday nights. Tip: If you’re looking for the authentic experience, make sure to ask for the authentic menu.

Ordered take out for lunch. The restaurant itself is in a strip mall that is dingy. The inside could not have been cleaner. The rice was perfect– I mean perfect. The General chicken was a great flavor with enough sauce, the chicken could be better quality though! Would return.

Ugh, I’m very sad to be writing this because coming from Seattle I so badly wanted to find«authentic» Asian cuisine here in our new home town of Denver. Anyways we ordered Mongolian Beef which I found to be quite bland, had no heat and was lacking… Dare I say it salt! Next was our shrimp and snow pea dish, the snow peas were fresh which was positive however the shrimp did not taste fresh. Once again I felt as if the dish lacked flavor ie garlic, oyster sauce, and SALT! Finally we ended on BBQ pork chow mein, this was nothing like any chow mein I have ever had… There were no soft noodles and it only had those deep fried crunchy ones on top. After reading this review you must think I love salt… Truthfully no I don’t I just did not get the sense that the cook was serving authentic Asian food… And quite honestly I believe that I could have cooked these dishes better at home… Alas my search for good Chinese food in Denver continues!

This is the best chinese i’ve had in denver, but that means East Coast Barely Worth Bothering. My first visit, I did enjoy my chicken curry and as I mentioned in my previous review, it didn’t make me throw up, as chicken curry has a tendency to do. HOWEVER, they did not give us any rice. We ordered one noodle dish and two chicken dishes and got zero rice. I was also bummed because I was sick and really wanted some chicken rice soup and they refused to make me any even though it is literally chicken broth and a scoop of white rice and in my experience any chinese restaurant will do this for you even if they don’t list it on the menu. We did get the extra hot mustard and duck sauce my boyfriend asked for.

Just… the best. The effing best. Get the spicy boiled fish and mapo tofu. I’ve had a couple other assorted dishes that are good(Thai curry and ziran, I believe) that were also great, but if you are here, order at least one thing drowning in peppercorns. You want legit Chinese food? You want legit mala? Get your face in here. Szechuan food is a religious experience.

We wanted to stay in and have a meal in our PJs. So, we chose the Take out for China Jade. The first comment is that they have no online menu. So I called to make sure. The employees answer to my online menu request was, «Tell me what you like and we have it! I’ll just tell you how much it is.» That’s not how we are comfortable ordering so I got dressed to go pick up a paper menu! Came back home to get the families picks! We decided on: The Pupu Platter… which we ended up not eating most of. Pork chow mein and pork fried rice… both OK! Shrimp with snow peas and Orange Chicken… both actually kind of yummy. Overall, the food wasn’t good enough for the trouble we had to go through to order it.

Now this is what Chinese food should be always be like! It’s been quite some time since I’ve had great Chinese luckily this place was in walking distance from my friends apartment. We had been drinking and eating bar food all weekend and I needed to change it up. They have a broad selection of classic Chinese food, I ordered the kung pao chicken with white rice, beef fried rice and crab meat cheese wontons. Everything was delicious! Took about 30 minutes to get everything ready so we waited a little bit inside. I am not big on chain restaurants and it sounds like this one is the only location in the Denver area. If you are ever in Aurora and craving Chinese this is the place to get your grub on!

Went again. Don’t have a reason to be in that part of town but the pork and tofu called to us. We ordered the usual favorites and were not disappointed. Going for the hot pot next it looked excellent.

Delicious! My husband and I just moved to Denver and we were so happy to find an authentic Chinese restaurant! We ordered off the Chinese menu(they have a Chinese-American menu as well) and everything was delicious. The oh choy veggies and mu shu tasted exactly like food I’ve had in Beijing. We even ordered some dishes that weren’t on the menu and they were delicious as well. Great service as well!

*BASEDONHOTPOTREVIEWONLY* Well, Well, Well… Now this China Jade has moved to a BIGGER Space, aka more seating areas for Patrons alike. Recent visit was for a farewell party, I suggested to my fellow Singaporean friends to go here for the HOTPOT! Thank God, they are willing to go to this China Jade. 2 of my friends made the reservation. I came early as usual since Hubs need to run some other errands. That evening was on Saturday June 14th2014. Time was 18:00hrs. The reservation was for 18:30hrs. Thankfully, the owner and staff allocated us in the PRIVATE Room! SCORE! The seating arrangement and all the Burners are all ready for us, including the RAWFOOD such as 3 Plates of TIGER Shrimp($ 26.85), 2 Plates of Fresh Cod Fish Fillet($ 15.90), 2 Plates of Hot Pot Fish Balls(L)($ 13.90) and other condiments are all set. We opt to have the DUALHOTPOT aka House Yin-Yang Pot, which one half have the SPICY Base and the other was the Herb Base. Just take note, this REQUIRERESERVATIONINADVANCE if you want to do the HOTPOT! The items you want for your HOTPOT can add up! So just be warned. Since there are 12 of us, the SOUP Base cost was $ 47.40. Hence that is like $ 3.95 for each person. 4 of us share one HOTPOT. Doable to some. With the choice of food we opt were : * 1 Plate of Hand Sliced Fatty Beef($ 8.95) * 3 Plates of Lamb & Beef Platter($ 29.85) * 3 Plates of Chicken Breast($ 17.85) * 4 Plates of Beef Tendon(L)($ 23.80) * 3 Plates of Napa Cabbage(L)($ 11.85) * 3 Plates of Glass Noodle(L)($ 11.85) * 3 Plates of Fresh Soft Tofu(L)($ 11.85) * 3 Plates of Enoki Mushroom(L)($ 17.85) * 2 Plates of Pancake($ 7.00) * 12 Bowls of Rice($ 12.00) My friends also order a couple of Beers, Soft Drinks and Tea. We are indeed stuffed at the end of the HOTPOTDINNER. 4 of my other friends also order the Pork Belly($ 5.95) for their HOTPOT Dinner. At least throughout the HOTPOT Dinner, one of the Staffs checked up on us, to make sure we need other things and also provide refills of Water, and other Beverages that we need. Since it was a farewell party for my friend, each of us paid like $ 35 with tax and definitely generous tips to boot! Take note, in our check, 18% Gratuity is already included. All in all, its THE Company that counts. THANKGOD, all my friends are OK with the food. In terms of the HOTPOT items, China Jade can do better hence this 3 star review. Decided to try a place my friend had never tried. I had a craving for hot pot, probably because it had been so good in New York. When we walked in, the restaurant was almost full, bustling with people happily eating dishes of steaming Chinese food. We were immediately seated and brought two menus. I asked for the hot pot menu, which surprised our server, but he gave us one and told us there would be a wait. My guess is that it’s not ordered often, so they were going to have to prep. We were there to catch up, so there wasn’t a rush. We ordered fatty beef and fish filet, bok choy and cabbage, enoki and shiitake mushrooms, corn, fish ball, bean curd, quail eggs, glass noodles and spicy broth. The server brought around a cart so that we could dress up our sesame sauce. We had a great time. Our table soon filled with plates of ingredients, larger portions than we expected, as we soon got to work. The veggies were nice and fresh, the meat was tender, and they gave us a bowl FULL of quail eggs. The spice was just right, and three people were filled to capacity, with food left over. It’s not NYC equivalent, but it was pretty good. 3.5 stars, rounding up because the service was friendly.
