I love coming here. I can’t afford the fancy haircuts and when I can, I feel ripped off because the ladies at this place are just as talented. I do admit I have had one bad experience but I now know not to use that particular person.

As a former stylist, I know there’s no sense in paying $ 50 for a haircut when you can find someone just as talented in a chain salon. I therefore typically go wherever is cheapest and most convenient. That has been Classic Cuts for more than a year now because they are never too insanely busy for a walk-in appointments, they are just a few blocks from my house, and they distribute unbeatable coupons. Most of the ladies at Classic Cuts have cut my hair at least once, except for one stylist who I intentionally avoid because she seems to be in a bad mood every time I come in. Life’s too short to deal with people who don’t like their jobs. Honestly, she’s the only reason this place doesn’t get four stars; it’s not fun listening to her complain about everything while sitting in the waiting room and sigh vexedly every time another customer comes in. That being said, the gals who have cut my hair always to a very good job and they are friendly without talking your ears off. Classic Cuts also has a massive selection of professional product and there’s usually something on sale. The location is great because on the rare occasion when the wait is longer than 20 minutes, you can always pop next door to Safeway and get your grocery shopping out of the way. Overall, I’d say I like Classic Cuts, but they’re about on par with other chain salons around town.
