The service is pretty disappointing. I walked in and the woman behind the counter coldly asked, ‘what do you want?’ without the slightest hint of a smile of appreciation for a customer. The croissants were pretty decent and the Napoleon was average, but the other items we tried were fairly tasteless and boring. The apple tart literally tasted like nothing — not like apples, or a tart. It was cold, dry and flavorless. The mouse cake was also fairly tasteless and looked better than it tasted and the cookies were boring and dry. I’d be inclined to give the place 3 stars based on the croissants and Napoleon, but the unfriendly, ‘what do you want because I have better things to do than serve you’ attitude made me not even want to return.

My favorite desert shop in town! Their Éclair’s are amazing, the fillings are just unbelievable! Tarts and velvet cakes are good too!

Great Bakery! I been here a few times now. Taste is amazing, and great quality and the best of all the price is right! Not over price like other bakeries around Denver.

I loved this place… you walk in the front door and all you smell are baked goodness — I couldn’t help but feel like a small child at Disneyland — soooo excited! There were a lot of delicious items to choose from… I had a hard time picking only two! I enjoyed the Black Forest Mouse and Peach Cream Cheese Danish… I did come in later in the day so I’m not sure how fresh out of the oven the Danish was, but when I got it back to my room it was soft and flavorful. The icing on top was breaking off, but not a big deal really — tasted soft and delicious, not overly sweet. The blueberry Danish looked awesome, but I only had a few days in CO! I would definitely come back to try the blueberry plus some of the other mousse flavors. The Black Forest Mousse was yumm… I’m not usually a fan of cherry but I wanted to be different on this trip so I went for it. I’m happy I did. The layer of cherries and cake… yum… LOADED with cherries… I would definitely come here again. The two women behind the counter were friendly and helpful too…

The pastry is good for single serve stop in for a sweet kind of place. I ordered a few dozen assorted French pastries for a Bridal shower and they were good just extremely small like the size of a quarter for over $ 1 a piece, I should have just gotten some of their croissants cut them into smaller pieces and called it good. I would have saved a fortune. Was not worth it

Went to Daniels on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Their pastries were lovely. The cream in the Mille– feuilles was amazing, in fact their cream and mousses were so wonderfully light and airy. Also nothing was sickeningly sweet like most Americans seem to crave. Everything has a wonderful subtle sweetness that only adds to the delightful experience of eating these wonderful treats. Definitely worth the drive from Parker

Good pastries. Have always loved this bakery. Recently bought a baby shower cake that was supposed to feed 40 people, cost was 130.00. Such a shame, that cake barely fed 15. I was way overcharged and disappointed. The cake was decent tasting and had cute decorations, but was WAY overpriced and I felt cheated.

The staff was friendly. The owner works hard and always makes his customers feel welcomed. I enjoyed several different items from there wonderful tempting delicious menu.
I ordered a cake with short notice not only was the cake wonderful they went above and beyond to meet any expectation including staying open late.

I hate to rate this place so low. Because their baked goods are beyond amazing. But the service i received today was unacceptable. I am a culinary student at the Art Institute and I wanted to bring some goodies in for my classmates since a baking teacher said there wasn’t a good French bake shop in Denver. As I was telling the story to an employee, another employee came out and they started talking. The first employee said «can you believe the art institute hasn’t heard of us?» The second employee looks at me and says «that’s because we don’t hire art institute people here. You all think you deserve the pastry chef position while I had to work my way up from the bottom» my reply was «that’s strange because all the instructors make it very clear that you have to work your way up in this industry» her reply was «well all the ones I’ve met act that way» and she turns around and walks away. Here I am buying baked goods so I can rave to all my fellow students and teachers about how good this places and this lady takes a dig at me? How is that acceptable behavior? As much as I love these pastries I will now never recommend this place to anyone else based off her service alone

I cannot rave enough about Daniel’s of Paris! They made our wedding cake in 2008 and we keep coming back for mini treats. Yes, they still make wedding cakes, but I’m not in the market for a 200 serving cake. Today, we only bouggt 4 treats because I’m trying to not be a glutton and it’s hard with such delicious desserts. Today I bought a Grand Marnier torte, a Grand Marnier choux (I’m sure I’m butchering the spelling), a café au lait torte, and a tiramisu torte.

They built a very custom cake for our wedding. They helped us with the planning of the build in the first place (to know how big to make it), and were so friendly. When the cake arrived on the wedding day, it looked exactly as it had in my imagination. We got so many compliments on its look, and how delicious it was. Thanks SO MUCH for making that part of our special day perfect. I’d give you a hundred stars if I could.

My grandparents had their 50^th anniversary this weekend and ordered their cake from Daniels. The texture was gritty. The black sprinkles and the yellow writing were an eyesore. The petit fours were delicious at the party but the cake was going to be the main show-​stopper and it fell way short. The owner is refunding them their money but honestly it should have done well in the first place. The cake from King Soopers was delicious. I would have expected a much better product from a bakery.

Best eclairs I have ever had. Our daughter loves the fresh made cookies here as well. Everything they make is delicious. Always get super friendly service. Highly recommend trying this place out if you are in the area.

In a strip mall in Aurora. I am picky and overly finicky about places I buy food from so had it not been for my husband I would have missed this place because it is not in a place I would expect there to be a french bakery. In that regard it is a hidden gem to those who don’t know.
Anyway, the napoleons are delicious. The cream is fresh and fluffy. The Grand Marnier and orange torte is delicious. with the yummy chocolate on top. I purchased a chocolate, coffee, Kahlua cake. It was covered in cream and save for the cream the cake would have been a tad dry. The cake was $ 42. The napoleons are about $ 3 or $ 4.
I can’t wait to try the carrot cake and the red velvet. The staff is friendly enough but they don’t greet you with open arms when you enter so try not to be too put off by them.

Have a sweet tooth? Craving something sweet & rich that isn’t a ton of money? This is THE place to go! Everything they have is soooo good! All of the pastries just melt in your mouth. You have to try the swan pastry when you go there. It is absolutely gorgeous & delicious. The owner is soo nice and didn’t rush you into picking what you wanted. They’ve been open for about 22 years he said, which obviously shows how good this place is. Sad enough most local businesses can’t thrive anymore. If you live close, or even if it would be a drive for you I would say that it’s DEFINITELY worth it!

I come here for the chocolate filled croissants. I am often disappointed with bakers who give me a floury fluffy mass with a dab of chocolate along one side. Not here. The pastry tastes like butter… there is so much chocolate that each bite gets a taste.
I also walk out of here with pomiers too. You can taste the butter in the flakey crust! Butter, not just white flour!
One day I am going to get past these addictions and try one of the beautiful more flamboyant items in the case… I think there is an éclair giving me the eyes too…

How can any sweets fan NOT like this place? Why oh why can’t you be open on Mondays when I need you the most? :)

Actually it’s good that they aren’t open all the time, because my waistline and wallet would both take a hit. There’s truly something for everyone here — our treats looked as good as they tasted, so I’ll post my photos soon!

Can’t get enough so too much to choose from is not a problem. They have coffee but bring your own tea bag…

This is THE place to get your chocolate eclairs!!! I’ve also tried their danish and cinnamon rolls. Delicious! Even though it’s a bit of a drive, this will be my new go-​to bakery for sweets.

Daniel’s Of Paris, now you have my heart err in this case my sweet tooth and rumbling tummy since my last visit to you on Wednesday November 7^th 2012. This time around, managed to go with LKZ and taking our time to order. Even one of my good Singaporean friends went here to pick up several pastries and its also her to go place to purchase pastries. Daniel’s Of Paris, my apologies to doubt you. *Heart You* Possible many returns to you, Daniel’s Of Paris.
