Dreyer Medical Clinic-West Aurora

As previous posters here said there were problems with billing, I’ve been going there for 13 years and only had an issue one time. Digging into it, I found it was my insurers fault. As for care and service for my family I am overall satisfied. We love the convenience of the walk in care and really like their walk in care doctors. A walk in care dr found blood poisoning in my son’s foot and leg before it reached a major artery! WE WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL! I’ve been seeing Dr. Evans for years for skin issues (acne) and during an exam he caught skin cancer early! Bless him! The kids have always had amazing pediatric care. I haven’t been very lucky finding the right primary care physician in Dreyer. Which is a real Bummer because my PCP now outside Dreyer ALWAYS has billing problems and does not give refills on regular needed scripts without being seen every 2 – 3 months where at Dreyer it was every 6 – 12 months. Also, I will miss Dr Alvarez from psychiatry very much! Always check wait times online before going to walk in care! WALK IN CARE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, HANDS DOWN!

Walk in care is ridiculous. My daughter had an infection on her foot. Of course I noticed at 8pm when I put her to bed. I immediately get her in the car to go to urgent care. Closest one is this one. I call at 8:10 and the woman was super disrespectful on the phone. I told her I was on my way and my child had what looked to be an infection and needed to be seen. Knowing they closed at 8:30, I was trying to be courteous. I get that no one wants to stay after their time, but I am a medical provider myself and would not turn anyone away. She told me she couldn’t guarantee anything as I only had two minutes! Hmm pretty sure your clocks being 15 minutes fast is completely uncalled for! On top of that, I pulled in at 8:31 and they turned me away. Thanks for nothing. So now I have ER bills that are outrageous. Also love on their hold message them talking about how urgent care is more economical than an ER visit. Wow. I should also mention, there were still patients in there, still activity. Not like they were walking out the door. My point is, heartless jerks who shouldn’t have a medical license if you are going to treat people that way! And don’t even get me started on allergy department… Went there for a year with no diagnosis for my autoimmune condition. Here’s more pills, take these steroids and antihistamines. They didn’t even test me for allergies they just kept giving me pills. Thankfully was years ago and found a new doc. Deserve NO stars but I had to put one!!! Stay far away from here!

They are the WORST at billing, just got a bill today ⁷⁄₁₁ due ⁷⁄₄. Not to mention for a bill that was in November. Not to mention for an insurance that is great and good at paying. Now I received confirmation from my insurance that said I have to pay a zero balance 5/​2, and now ⁷⁄₁₁ I get a bill from Dreyer for that reason? Something is not right here. I will put them on the news for an investigation if they don’t resolve this with the insurance company. On Unilocal,there was another person mentioning their billing department is THE WORST, I’m sure there are many others out there who just don’t post on Unilocal.I am not the first person to talk about their billing department.

Worst place ever. First of all– have HORRIBLE customer service. I was sick and needed to be seen and I called in, and the lady LAUGHED at me on the phone and said there was no appointments available… and didn’t even check the other locations. They also are the WORST at billing… I was JUST billed in 2015 for appointments i went to in 2014 and they were all lumped together, making the bill very large! Last of all– do NOT go there for medical advice, I never got a call with my test results, and they called me 6 months later to tell me they forgot… and I had something wrong… good thing it wasnt life threatening… who knows if they ever would have called. DO NOT GO HERE… I wouldnt trust them with a bug bite…

I come here all the time.
I have most of my doctors out of this office. And, have visited walk in care a couple of times.
Most recently I was here because of a severely stiff neck and back. The doctor in the walk in care was great. He even was able to sympathize with my discomfort as he gets this from time to time.
Gave me some scripts and then on my way. They were estimating the wait to be an hour to see the doctor. I was in and out within a half hour.
The nurses were very nice as well.

Complete lack of any kind of payment plan that is reasonable! Stay Away! Used to be a good clinic! I think I will go somewhere else from now on!

This review is about Dr. Neena Szuch, not necessarily about the clinic as a whole. I was having problems with my knee. I waited a couple weeks to get in to see Dr. Szuch. Prior to knee problems, I was VERY active, running, walking, exercising 4 – 5 x’s a week. Very anxious to see the doctor and get some help for my problem. She dismissed me and my problems like I was a fly on the wall. Told me it was muscular! I had been training for a marathon before this and this was muscular?! Went to Fox Valley Ortho where I was treated like a person, and they found the problem. A cracked Cartiliage… Muscular indeed! I cried in my car after seeing Dr. Szuch, don’t waste your time if you want a Doctor to help you.

I’ve been a patient at the West Galena location for years now. They are always professional and friendly. Love my doctors there. I strongly suggest using their MyChart app or online. It’s a great tool to stay on top of things.

Dreyer is a really nice facility. They’re transitioning to be owned by Advocate. They have an app (mychart) where you can view all of your lab reports which is really nice. It’s sometimes a little bit like a maze to find your way, but once you know where your’e going, it’s no problem at all. All staff is very nice and there’s even a gift shop inside (which is frankly a little weird for an out patient clinic).

I’m new to this region and needed medical attention on a Saturday. So, when they referred me to go the this Dreyer North Aurora location, I thought is be waiting all day for assistance. Quite the contrary happened. The staff was super courteous, friendly, attentive and discreet. The medical staff (assistants and doctor) were accommodating. I almost felt better just being around them. Anyway, after I was treated, I thought to myself this wasn’t do bad after all. I mean no long waits, friendly and professional staff and they took care of my medical needs within a reasonable time. That’s pretty good. I’d say if I needed to (hopefully not, I prefer to be healthy), I’d go there again with no reservations.

I’m new to the area and new to Dryer but so far so good! Every staff member is helpful and kind and the doctors have never made me feel ignored. Dreyer has always been accurate with diagnosing my family and most of all– efficient without being ignorant!

The walk-​in clinic staff & Dr’s are the best. They have a great check-​in system & you ‘re given a buzzer like at your fav restaurant (pt prvivacy act). They have great extended hrs to meet your needs. Dr’s Abrams & Ireland have been wonderful at getting me well all while keeping my financial concerns in mind. The front & back office staffs are very friendly & really care about your health. I even got a refund on the spot after I overpaid for my first visit. Their websites are keep up to date with current waiting times at the walk in care clinics.
