Staff is friendly as soon as you walk in. It was our first time going and we just wanted it to go but it seemed like a nice environment to sit down and enjoy a meal. They have a nice waiting area and the food came out in about 5 – 7 minutes and was delicious as well as affordable! Check it out

This place is my go to from now on, for delicious western style take out Chinese. This was the 3rd or 4th Chinese place I tried in the area. They do General Tso’s the way I like it. Other places were heavily breaded, barely sauce(almost like sweet and sour chicken, and the taste was sweet sour). This place does it EXACTLY how I like it. Definitely coming here for my take out fix. __ Update — I forgot I also bought combo fried rice. Also GREAT, LOADED!

Moved here from MA and could not find a Chinese place that compared to how it was back home, but this place is just as good! The rice is different but still delicious! Only place I’ll go for Chinese food!

We recently moved from NY and have been wanting to find a good Chinese restaurant. This place is really good! Their dumplings are fantastic. Crab Rangoon is awesome too and just about and chicken dish here is perfect.

Good food and service. I had twice cooked pork and my husband had Kung Pao Chicken. He loved his and mine was good too… the iced tea was also very good.

I have been here twice. Great food and service. The waitstaff doesn’t try to be your friend but instead provides great service. You don’t need to ask for things here. The meat is tender, juicy and delicious. Great place! Try the crabmeat cheese won tons! To die for! Yum!!!

I work out in this part of town a fair bit, was looking for some Asian cuisine, and this place popped up on Google.(Sorry, Unilocal is a PITA to use in a truck) This is one of those places that has a sampling of Asian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, etc., and so far, they’ve done a decent job with everything I’ve tried, although I haven’t gotten around to the Vietnamese. The dish I keep going back to is the Thai green curry combo. BIG bowl of flavorful, rich curry with lots of meats and vegetables, just the thing to warm you up on a shitty cold day. The one thing I wish they would do is offer a few more condiments like the phở places do. I like my food a little spicier than what normally comes out of the kitchen, like to squirt some Sriracha on there, or a few dollops of chili/garlic sauce, maybe some hoisin now and then. They bring me a dish of chillies in hot oil, acceptable, but the aforementioned would be better. I like that they offer brown rice, although they charge you for it. Service seemed a little stand-offish the first couple times, but they seem to have warmed up a little to the big, bearded gringo. Easy to get in and out of this place in the half-hour I’m allotted for lunch. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, food is fresh and well-prepared, pleasing to the eye as well as the palate. Oh, and the men’s room is nice and clean, my first sign that I probably won’t get food poisoning in a place. Another place I wish was in Brighton.

I’ve eaten here a few times. The deal in the lunch special is pretty good, right around $ 7 for a full plate of rice and whatever you choose as your main dish along with an egg roll. When I say a full plate I mean a FULL plate. The portion sizes are huge! I’ve had the orange chicken and the general Tsos chicken and they are both good. The food also comes fairly quickly.

I love going to East China for Lunch. Its right by my work so I can walk there. My favorite food is the chicken and garlic sauce and I absolutely love the fried rice!

My wife and I moved from California to Colorado and tried several Chinese food restaurants and could not find any that matched the quality of what were were used to. eating at back in southern California. Finally we ran into this one and have been going back on a regular basis for the past 3 years. The food here tastes really good, and the service has always been great, the portions are very generous, and the prices are right! Also, when we started to eat here, the décor was really outdated, but that did not matter to us since it looked clean and the food and service was great… However, the restaurant has undergone some recent interior and exterior remodeling, and it now look nice. My wife and I have tried several dishes here and have liked most of them. Once that really stands out is the Mongolian triple. Luckily for us, this restaurant is not too far from where we live, but even if we moved further away, it would be well worth the drive as there are not many great Asian restaurants in the Denver metro area.

The kung pao triple delight is to die for. You get so much food and everything is very tasty. The fried rice is awesome. I recommend you make your order a ‘meal’, this way you get the meat egg roll, wonton soup, and cheese wonton. Dad enjoyed his shrimp fried rice! Staff are friendly, the food is hot, and the restaurant is clean. I really, really do wish you guys were open Sunday!

The food was pretty good. Not much to complain about. A few of the items we ordered were extremely seasoned to much. Other than that it was pretty good. Not the best Chinese food I’ve had but not the worse.

As soon as I hung up the phone from placing my order, I swear the guy was knocking at my door. Another review said to try the Egg Foo Young and I am glad I did. It was fabulous. Everything was good. I mean everything. I ordered the Egg drop soup, steamed veggies, and crab cheese won tons, as well. They threw in egg rolls too. My daughter ate some of everything which says a lot. My new staple for sure.

I used to live in the apartments next to this place and ate here all of the time! I live quite a distance from there now, but it is worth the drive to dine in or carry out. Unfortunately, it’s located in the ghetto and looks really rundown from the outside. But don’t let that scare you away! You get generous potions for low prices and the staff is always wonderful and very helpful. Don’t forget to order the almond cookies!

Ok, so I’m still a fan of this place and will still give it the 4 stars it deserves, but I must update with my latest food craze over this restaurant. Delivery still the same, no changes there. Food well er if it wasn’t for the excellent food it’d be 3.5 stars :(. This time I literally went all out in ordering, yes I wanted dinner for the next day unbeknowest it would be the next 3 days lol. But this go around I went with the crispy shrimp(extra spicy), beef pan friend noodles, and the fried dumplings. Ok so the food was excellent like always, but… it wasn’t the greatest for some reason. A little disappointed, but still ate it all like always. I asked about the crispy shrimp, which was in a sweet and spicy sauce. For some reason I would have thought it meant the shrimp was crispy, like sweet and sour crispy. Nope, not really. The pan fried noodles were great, beef cooked to perfection. The fried dumplings on the other hand were tough. Not sure what it was, but I’m pretty sure it was the actual fried skin on them. I had these items again the next day for my lunch/dinner at work. The dumplings somehow got even tougher and even the pork filling inside didn’t do it for me. It didn’t hold its flavor. The shrimp was soggy like no other, but the pan fried noodles stayed well until the 3rd day, which is expected. Would I still order from them again and recommend it? Oh definitely. Thinking of taking my boyfriend there for lunch one day.

We just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE East China!!! We have been going in here once or twice a week(never miss a week unless we are out of town)…for the past 6 – 7 years. That is no exageration. We have introduced many of our friends and family to East China as well. The food at East China is always spot on! That includes the Chinese Food as well as the Thai Food. The Spiced Thai Soup is addictive!!! Freshly made, always hot, always flavorful and prices are awesome! Lots of food for the money. We always have left overs for the next day. We have gotten to know the owners and their children and employees and would venture to say we are more like friends now instead of customers. Although when we first started going there… we felt special. They always talk to you, they always acknowledge everything from when you walk in, to drinks, to food. You just know… they got it! Try everything on the menu! The Egg Foo Young rocks, The Pan Fried Noodles… well, you will just have to try them, they are AMAZING… all the soups are awesome. The Seseme Beef… my newest addiction… LOL! The Seseme Shrimp, AMAZING, The Triple Garlic… OMG! I could go on and on and on… but one more thing… You MUST, MUST, MUST try the Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce!!! Mmmmm You will not be disappointed! We absolutely CANNOTEATCHINESEFOODANYWHEREELSE!!! From the food to the prices to the service, everything was far above average here. From the moment we walked in, we were taken care of by the woman running the place. She chatted us up the entire time. After our food was done, the old man cooking(presumably her husband) came out and joined us as well, talking football and other things. If you don’t like this kind of interaction with the staff, this place definitely won’t be up your alley, but I enjoy it so it was cool. Just a quick tip… there are some menu items that are labeled«hot and spicy». I ordered my Orange Chicken hot and spicy, and my friend ordered his sesame chicken«EXTRA spicy». When our food came out, there were differences worth noting. My actual chicken wasn’t spicy at all, but had thai peppers mixed with the meal. His came out with spicy seasoning on the actual chicken itself, as well as peppers. So if you want your food itself to be spicy, order it «EXTRA spicy». The only other thing that could be called«bad» is the décor, like someone else already mentioned. But really who cares. You’re there for the food. Full bar with cheap drinks and draft beers. Always a plus. Price-wise all the lunch and dinner meals hover around $ 7 – 8, which is awesome for the portion sizes. Overall this is the best asian food I’ve had in a while.
