I enjoyed this dog park a lot more than the one we usually go to(Batavia Bark Park). This is a wide open field that affords pups the opportunity to run their little paws off, play with their pup pals, and pee on ALL the things. Our little corgi loved the space. Not only that, it seems like the other dogs that were there were much friendlier than the ones in Batavia(he often gets picked on when we’re there… it’s aggravating enough for me to almost go Final Form Mama Bear). There were plenty of dogs his size there and he was able to make some new friends, dig a bunch of holes that aren’t located in our yard, and make a few poops along the way. All in all, a great place to be a pup. The only downside is they require a permit. But it’s like $ 25 for the year… worth it and then some if you want your dog to be well-socialized and well-exercised.

I’ve come across aggressive dogs here. No one checks for permits or rabies vaccinations. I do not recommend at all!!!

The dog park itself is nice — large with a few nice sized trees. However we have stopped going there due to too many run-in’s with irresponsible owners. After a while it starts to diminish the value. We have better luck at the dog park in Batavia — even though that park is not as big.

I love this dog park! I often bring my aunt’s dog here when she goes on vacation and she loves it as much as I do. Like the previous review stated, you do need a permit but i’ve never had to show it. There is a lot of room for the dogs to roam and play around. The other pet owners are very friendly and follow the rules and clean up after their dogs. The other dogs are awesome to play with and they are all friendly. My aunt’s dog loves to come here and play with the other dogs and I enjoy letting her burn all her energy and run wild. This is an awesome inexpensive dog park, probably the best one in Aurora. I’d reccomend it to anyone with a dog, you’ll love it just as much as they do.

This dog park is part of the Fox Valley Park District and requires a permit for access(although, to be honest, I’ve never seen anyone check). It is about 3 – 4 acres, completely fenced in, with two double-gated entrances. There is a TON of open space for running, playing, or throwing a ball. There are a few very large trees near the center of the park that provide nice shade. There are also a few benches and picnic tables. As most all dog parks require, this one requires that you pick up after your pet, leash aggressive animals, fill in holes your dog might have dug, etc. etc. In other words, just be a nice, normal, responsible pet owner. There are plenty of plastic bags for picking up poop available around the fences if you happen to not have one and there are usually dishes to share water(bring some water and share!) I get the impression that these things are there thanks to loyal patrons of this park, not the park district itself. My dog loves this park, and loves to be able to run off-leash and play with other dogs. The only drawback, is that yes, on occasion you’ll get a slightly irresponsible owner. I’ve never seen anything serious, more just lazy owners and disobedient dogs, but it kinda comes with the territory. Overall, a nice place to take your dog to play. I can’t wait to bring my baby back!
