Fabulous used bookstore! Hours are limited, check before going. Can’t believe the prices and selection is good too. Looking for something in particular, be sure and ask a staff member at the desk or at the door in the back of the store. If they don’t have it, you can put in a request & they’ll call you when it comes in. Books of all genres, DVD’s CD’s, books on tape, record albums, children’s, paperbacks, hardbacks, collectibles, on & on…50% off sales every month on different categories of books. All staff is volunteer & proceeds go to Aurora Public Libraries. Don’t forget to donate books to them, they are very appreciative!

A lesser-known jewel for book lovers! The selection is varied … I’ve picked up ex-library books, old books long out-of-print, former bestsellers and unique books on non-mainstream subjects for tiny amounts of money. It’s worth bookmarking their website or liking them on Facebook(not that I’m a huge FB fan) just to keep on top of their sales. Limited hours and a cash-or-check only policy are things to be aware of, but you can go in with only $ 5 or $ 10 and come out with quite a haul. The place is volunteer staffed, and this is the only place I have a complaint. Most of the people in there are very nice and quite helpful if you are looking for something. But there is one lady who works there regularly who has no problem chatting loudly about other volunteers or family members(or other volunteers’ family members!) in less-than-flattering ways for anyone in the store to hear. I don’t know her name, and I wouldn’t mention it if I did, but it would be nice if someone would take her aside and tell her to cool it. That being said, I still love to visit this store!

This place is great! Not only can you donate boxes of books that, lets face it, aren’t doing anyone any good taking up wall space and collecting dust in your house!(Hello e-reader!) But they also offer great disclounts on books for people that might not have the latest e-reader. Feel good and donate here. PS There’s a blue box out in the parking lot that takes books too– DONOT put your books in there– they go to shred.
