Best sushi place in town! Bob and his family provide great service and food. They are very consistent and reliable. I would recommend their restaurant to anyone.

This sushi is pretty average. Nothing we ordered really wowed us, but the service was great, the prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean and well decorated. Overall we had a pleasant experience but we’ve had better sushi elsewhere so we probably won’t be coming back here any time soon.

Love love love this place. Fire Cracker & Dragon are ah-mazing! I start with them & end with a second order. Great for business meetings, date night or large parties.

I read all the other reviewers comments and see that not everyone agrees on how good their experience was. Mine was great. But let me be specific. I don’t like raw anything, so I am all about the rolls. The spider roll(soft shell crab) was the best I have ever had.(compared to other places in my hood like the Golden Dragon, or Sonodas) I also enjoyed their Dragon roll(eel) and the California roll. Their ginger dressing is amazing on their salad, and they have cold Saki which I had never tried. Delish! It is also convenient to home and work, so I will definitely be back.

Rude service. The sushi is sub– par And the owner makes no excuses for being rude when asked about the bad service. I will never go back.

Really wish this place had better sushi. Its so close to my house but it tasted like pre-made sushi. The ambiance was okay and the service was nice but everything we ordered fell short.

Everything I’ve tried here is just delicious! I also love the eclectic décor. It’s a hidden gem which is great because it means not much wait time. Staff is very friendly! YUM!

Sushi nazi! We patronized this business for years. Loved it. Then one time we ordered more than we could eat, both of a special roll along with a couple of pieces of the happy hour sushi. When we asked for a box we were told that we couldn’t take the leftover pieces of «happy hour» sushi. If I remember correctly we had 2 pieces left worth $ 2.00. REALLY?!. Hello, common sense and courtesy anyone? We will NEVER return again. I recommend Saigon Tokyo off Buckley and Alameda. Great customer service, which is priceless.

Most expensive, over priced sushi I have ever ordered!!! They charge $ 50 for a pick up, no itemized receipt and the whole order fitted into 2 boxes?! These guys are an absolute con!!! At least four better sushi restaurants in the area that make this lot look awful, try those… UPDATE — Just tried each role to see if I could update this bad review and honestly wanted to have my tail firmly between my legs in embarrassment, however as I thought… Really poor, no taste sushi! I really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone wanting to eat good food

Hana offers happy hour prices all day– just $ 1 per piece! You can’t beat that price. And here’s the real kicker– it’s very good sushi! They have unique rolls, fresh everything and consistently good service. My son absolutely loves the green tea cheesecake. It’s a must visit if you are in southeast aurora!

Now that I live in the Aurora area, I am excited to explore new restaurants that I have never been to or heard of. Sushi Hana is one of them. I was looking on Google to find a sushi place in the area and came across this one. They are open late and offer $ 1 nigri. I am in! We walked in and the place was dead. Not a soul in site except the two employees there. Many people complain about the décor being too Ikea ish, but I feel like it looks inviting and comfortable. We were seated and saw the sign stating 2 for 1 sake on Monday through Thursday. Perfect! We ordered a couple of rolls, and a ton of nigri of yellowtail and salmon. Service was super fast. I know they didn’t have anyone else to serve, but still felt like they were faster than normal. The sushi was good, maybe not the best, but still pretty fresh. We will definitely be back to try more rolls!

Good but not great sushi. The Ikea like furniture hurts my eyes and is definitely not welcoming. You walk through the entrance to another section of the restaurant that looks like used to be an older section. That’s when you get greeted. Service was ok at best. Miso soup was bland and the salad was alright. Only liked one roll that came to our table so we ordered it twice. The nigiri was made with a huge cut of fish and a dab of rice. This place is ok like I said but the ambiance doesn’t say«please come back and enjoy the food.» Instead it says«You want to sit in uncomfortable metal/wood chairs and chic see-thru tables?» Someone needs to bring the feng shui bat and swing it around a couple times.

Meh, I thought I was going to be really impressed by this place but it left me with a stale taste in my mouth. They have a great sushi selection and $ 1 nigiri during happy hour and when we went it seemed to be a two person team running the show. The décor is stale and uncomfortable, like Thavry said, very IKEA-esque…and thats not a compliment. It wasn’t like gas station sushi but it wasn’t anything I would recommend and and just wasn’t as mind blowing as the reviews had me believe. The sushi didn’t have a lot of taste and the fish tasted rubber-y at best. We ordered a couple of rolls and multiple pieces of nigiri but for price to value, I would definitely go elsewhere or pick up a ton at King Soopers since that’s about the level it was on.

Ambience… Ehhh… Not comfortable at all. IKEA décor. Food…how should I put it. old hard sushi rice, It’s was so hard to chew, slimy fish. The yakisoba was beyond terrible… It had to much tonkatsu sauce it was sour, the noodles tasted like overlooked instant ramen noodles… Omg horrible… Finally we got dessert we got mochi and green tea cheesecake, first of all the mochi was definitely melted then frozen again it had that freezer burned taste and texture… the cheesecake tasted like the fridge. I really had high hopes for this place…:(

I went for my first time today, and will definitely be back! The location is perfect, close to my house. The prices don’t seem bad for lunch either. For dinner I ordered edamame, two specialty rolls– two dragons & spicy shrimp, and a tall Sapporo, for $ 28. The rolls were wonderful, but I was disappointed in the edamame as I’m pretty sure I could see what was freezer burn on them. The staff was very nice and gracious, and the two handled their nice monday night rush with grace and smiles!

Great food, reasonably priced. Firecracker appetizer was tasty, but be careful! It was definitely a spicy jalapeño in there! Fish was fresh, nice atmosphere — very low key. We will definitely be back!

I went to Hana Sushi with 2 others for sushi. We were greeted and sat at at table right away. We placed our order and waited about 40 to 45 minutes for the sushi to arrive. There were 2 people behind the counter making sushi and there were 3 tables — including us — in the whole restaurant so I am not sure why it took such a long time for the order to be made. The sushi was not outstanding. I ordered a spicy tuna roll, a spicy salmon roll, and an Alaska roll and was rather disappointed that there was no difference in the flavor of any of the rolls. They all tasted the same — bland. I would not recommend Hana Sushi and will not go back there.

I have driven past this place many times but never trusted it would be good due to its location. My usual go to sushi restaurant was closed for remodeling, so I thought«what the heck.» I finally stopped in and I should have trusted my gut feeling. First off, I am a sushi snob. I love the stuff and eat it often. Here my nigiri was anemic. The portion size was laughable, and the rice was dry/old. The spicy tuna roll was acceptable, but not spicy. The miso soup was average at best, and the curry bowl was boring and uninspired. All that being said, the food was average to below average. The service was prompt, and the waitress was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, great service does not make up for the food.

We moved in around the corner about a year ago and have been eating there since. Quality of fish is good and quite consistent. Wait staff is very friendly and prompt. Happy hour is an excellent to time to go with their $ 1 Nigiri and 2 for 1 Saki. Prices are right in line with the other top sushi places in re area. This is a great place if you want good quality sushi that’s close by. Definitely one of the top to choose from in the area.
