Decent selection but consistently rude service. Confusing sale prices only to get up front and be told«that’s not on sale» I keep saying I won’t go back but I do and am quickly reminded why I said I wouldn’t come back.

This is a bigger store than you realize from outside. They had a good beer cooler and lots of wine. The staff seemed friendly and prices seemed inline with other places. I only go here if I happen to be in this neck of the woods and actually prefer Great Vines over off Smoky/470 because it has a few more unique items — or maybe they just have what I usually go for and this place didn’t. Although I would grade this place a solid B. Its a good spot to stop in for your beverage needs :)

I am a fan of High Point Liquor. They have a wonderful selection of wine, liquors(hello Russian Standard!) and beers. They carry several kinds of hard cider, too, which makes them awesome in my book. They guys behind the counter are always nice and courteous. I’m glad High Point is in my neighborhood!

Your first thought looking at this store will be «Eh, another strip mall liquor store». But step inside and peer into the beer coolers and you’ll find a nice selection of micro-brews from Belgium to Aurora! Looking for a nice wine instead? I was pleasantly surprised to see a few boutique labels that I’ve only previously seen at high-end wine shops. But what about when you’re heading to a party and looking for something a little stronger? Again, a selection of hard liquor that includes some local and organic productions like 360 vodka and trendy hits like Skinny Girl Margarita. Does this store have it all? Not quite. But they definitely come through with options and for those in Southeast Aurora it’s a convenient stop vs other larger liquor stores.
