Great food! The catfish and hot links are so delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of their sides! The wait was so quick! Just so good, I love them

Yummy — always have pulled pork — always tender and great. I love the potato salad — really good.

Best hot links in town! I like their spicy bbq sauce. I have also tried the pulled pork and ribs. They were good, but the hot link is why I return.

I have driven past the big red truck on Mississippi plenty of times and always wanted to try. Today I did.
I ordered the Belly Buster sandwich and some catfish. I love catfish and have yet to find a place that has great catfish. Well, I found it! The catfish was perfectly hot and tender, not over fried. The sandwich was good too. The hot link was great, but honestly the brisket was bland and BBQ sauce was too.
So I’ll be going back if I’m ever hungering for some good catfish or hot links.
The service was okay. The lady in the window acted like I was inconveniencing her. She seemed completely disengaged and somewhat annoyed. That was aggravating. The other lady who gave me my food was nice.

How can I put this short and simple? I’m not going back. I really can’t. The food is always good, I mean it’s hog heaven. But here is where it gets nasty. The lady in the front window was the meanest person I ever encountered. My girlfriend and I were both appalled at the way she treated us. When one mans food was ready he looked at me so I thought it was mine. I walked up and she screamed!!! «YOU, NOT YOU!!! My girlfriend and I believed it was because we were white as the African American gal who was before us was treated like a queen. I’ve never been treated so terribly for doing nothing wrong to anybody. How can anybody be that mean to someone trying to be a customer. In fact I wish I told her how I really feel because nobody deserves to be talked to like that. I certainly won’t be going back because of her!!! She made the food taste bad with her nasty attitude. I like happy people serving me food!!! So does everyone else!!!

We’re new to town, so we rolled up to the Big Red Bus looking for local BBQ. Much to my surprise, THEY HAVE FRIED FREAKIN’ CATFISH!!! I quickly bailed on the BBQ as Good Fried Catfish is hard to find.
FOUND IT!
My wife got the ribs (they were also delicious)
The staff was super nice, and the wait was no longer than 10 min.
Great Food Takes Time. To the person below that was upset about them closing early… you should show up earlier next time. In Texas the BBQ joints close when the food runs out. This is quite possibly the case here, or just a perk of owning your own food truck!

Staff was very nice and friendly. I ordered pulled pork with spicy sauce, coleslaw, and baked beans, 10 buck, very filling. Food came very fast 10 minutes at most. Sauce was good. It really was pretty spicy. Pulled pork was good, nothing special. The beans were really good. The coleslaw I was not good. It was vinegar-​based, which is too bad. A milk-​based slaw would have offset the acid in the barbecue sauce much better. And already very acidic vinegar-​based coleslaw left the meal with something missing. Overall, hog heaven barbecue was just shy of being really good. Unfortunately, as it is, it is just okay.

Read my reviews and understand how much I love catfish and know this… either something is wrong with the taste buds of those who say that the catfish is bland or they themselves are catfish.
I personally didn’t order catfish as the BELLY BUSTER was what tickled my fancy this go around. Which was COMPLETELY DELICIOUS, by the way.
My hubby ordered the catfish sandwich and that was some tasty stuff.
Anyway, they get my 5 stars because all the food and customer service was stellar.
Keep them hogs smokin’ cuz I’ll be back soon!!!

Catfish very bland. Prices too high and wait is too long for a food truck. Maybe worth another try.

Staff was friendly the food was good. The dish was tasty and was not oily. The food is made to order but worth the wait.

Catfish bland… Fries bland… Coleslaw so so at best. Price too high. Took a long time to get food (20 minutes). Generator makes the stay anything but peaceful. if not for the friendly staff it would be one star. if you want to eat here you better get here fast because no way they are open much longer with food like that. maybe the other food is better but goodbye red bus.
