This is a smaller bakery that’s located inside of M Mart on Havana. They carry all of the classic Korean breads(i.e. red bean, castella, crumb bread, and stuff). I used to buy their baked goods when they were located inside H Mart, but I can’t really comment on how they tasted then. I recently tried the red bean and it was on the drier side — didn’t really have the moisture I was looking for. However, the sweetness wasn’t off the charts, so it was bearable. The location is pretty convenient and the prices are generally around $ 1/piece. Worth stopping by, if you’re craving some yummy baked goods! They also have a stand with discounted items that are a day old. Worth looking at!

I did note the pictures of the cakes below ~ I have never had their cakes but I have never walked in and seen mold on their cakes; perhaps this was a singular incident; perhaps not. All of their packaged breads and pastries are baked daily and they usually sell out on a daily basis– what they do not sell is put on a pedestal marked off as «Yesterday’s Bread». I have shopped at H-Mart Several times and each time I have stopped and purchased sweet breads from Honey Bakery. Everything I have purchased has tasted fresh and delicious, and is definitely home-made; if you don’t eat it, after a week, it will mold, just like home-made bread or cakes without preservatives. Maybe they forgot to change out the cakes for a week in the previous person’s experience, I don’t know. Things happen. Not saying that displaying moldy cakes is OK– but I have never had a bad experience with the goods I have purchased. Give them a try! If you are shied away because of the previous photo’s, be assured that all of the packaging on their breads and pastry’s is a clear plastic all around, so you can check out your goods before buying. I will say, however, that normally whoever is running the check out stand in their little shop is usually talking to someone, either another customer, or on the phone. But they still take care of you when you are ready to check out or if you have questions.

If I could give this bakery a Zero, I would LOVE to… because that would be the honest score of the place. *see pictures* The other day I bought a small bread thing. There wasnt much to choose from, so I just chose the one that looked freshest. The cashier(she seemed to be the owner?) was too busy talking on the phone to bother with me, so I took the time to look at their display case. From a distance I saw yummy looking crème cakes. As I got closer I started feeling a little queasy but I thought, nahhhh, that CANNOTBE what I think it is. SUREENOUGH, ITWAS. ITWASMOLDONTHECAKES, EVERYSINGLEROTTENONE. Please see the pictures that I uploaded. You cant tell from the pictures, but the middle of the cakes were sunken in, because the middle rotted obviously. The top of the cakes had orange, strawberries, and the remnants of kiwi… I think? It was too deformed for me to tell exactly what the fruit HADBEENBEFORE it rotted. If this is any indicator of how they deal with hygiene… They are obviously too lazy to even take a quick glance at their cakes and think«oh, that’s mold. I should probably trash that and sanitize the surface, then replace the cake with a FRESH one.» This is rude and just plain gross.

YUMMY. delicious red bean paste filled bread. O MY! My tastes buds are very pleased. They also have terrific banana raisin bread, strawberry coconut filled bread and all sorts of other treats. Wedding cakes too! You can pick up these Korean goodies at H-Mart in Aurora. They are inexpensive and there’s enough variety to get something different each time. Kamsahmnida!

located inside the Midopa market, this bakery has been in operation for about a year. they make fresh breads(Korean version) and sells it here and also supplies to bakery inside H-Mart. I have bought few items here and they taste ok. nothing extra special. baked goods are mostly $ 1 per pc. you can also order birthday/wedding cakes. they use less sugar in cakes and frosting. I personally prefer NY bakery at SE corner of Havana and Iliff.
