I am not a huge fan of stopping at a food truck. *I* know it is the«in» thing to do now. I normally avoid it because of the experiences I saw in the past.(80’s yeah – I know I am old). I have to admit it. REALLY good burrito! The creamy salsa that is almost orange is — SOOOOOOHOT, but it tastes so good. The Burritos have rice, beans, meat and cilantro. My gent orders mine white style(sigh – yes I am) which is very light on the cilantro.(Just too potent a spice to put a lot!!). They are made to order, they have a great sense of humor and, frankly – They taste REALLY good. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the meat is a little greasy. To some, that is the flavor. To me it was a bit much. I had the Carne Asada. Do not be afraid to stop here! Yummmmmm

I’ve been meaning to try this taco truck that my buddy Mary Jo rec’d to me years ago but just somehow never managed to stop by. A coworker frequents this truck every payday so I decided to tag along and finally check them out. The menu is pretty extensive, the people are nice, and the food(I had a carnitas burrito) was good. I have yet another cool option for food close to my new job. Thanks MJ!

Man this taco truck is awesome… great burritos and cheap prices. One burrito is sure to hit the spot and fill you up. Quality ingredients and tasty spices make this cart a Taco Tuesday hit! Truck is located on the SE corner of E. Colfax Ave and Moline St. Aurora, CO. Right in front of the tire shop.

This taco truck is Located in the parking lot of Dalke’s Laundry. $ 1.50 for different kind of taco meats. My favorite is Barbacoa(marinated beef) similar to the ones at Chipotle but more authentic. They also have burritos and tostada for around $ 5.

To avoid an accident/traffic jam on I-225, I was driving along E Colfax near Moline Street and observed the La Cascada truck. I ordered a handheld barbacoa burrito with all the extras. I took extra red hot sauce from the assortment of condiments that appear to be homemade. This is the best truck burrito I have had in the Denver area. Only $ 4. Hot. Tasty. Not overly oily. Fast. And, most of all, delicious.

You know what Los Angeles has that Denver doesn’t have? Besides the ocean and the traffic, the taco trucks in LA are fabulous. It’s the greatest post-midnight, post-clubbing, mid-studying-cramming snack… ever. I’m specifically thinking of El Taurino… …but I digress. We need more taco trucks! When we drove by La Cascada, we thought we’d give it a try. Two asada tacos(«…hey hey… psst! What are tostadas?» «Just get the tacos… or google it!») and one shredded beef variety with everything(tomatoes, cilantro, etc) were ordered and quickly consumed. We chose the creamy green salsa and pretended to know what it was as we slathered it all over our tacos. Fantastic. The tacos could have used a little bit more meat and filling but overall, they were quite tasty. Mmm… tacos. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be back!

Great little taco cart. Very friendly(english speaking) staff, fantastic tacos. Fresh, simple pico de gallo and generous portions of meat on corn tortillas. I’ve visited this place half a dozen times now and I think it’s a Colfax treasure. Quintessential street food complete with help yourself condiment cabinets and coolers. Give them some patronage and get some carne asada tacos. Only drawback is no chicken…

A full menu of options and a super friendly owner makes for a taco stop that I am down to visit again. I had the tacos al pastor and even though they weren’t spit roasted, they still packed a mighty punch. Their tacos come on the greasy side, but they are packed with meat and serve as a great bargain for the adventurous.

La Cascada is one of my favorite taco carts; I get Carne asada tacos for $ 1.50 each. Once you order, get a bag of cabbage, radishes, and limes and a small container of salsa from the self serve cabinet, my favorite is the creamy green one. Savory pieces of meat on double corn tortillas with cheese and tomato. Be sure to ask for everything… con todo… or it will come with meat only. Add the cabbage, salsa, and squeeze of lime and you cannot beat this meal for the price. When I review, I add cost into the equation. A great tasting $ 1.50 taco gets 4 stars anytime over a mediocre meal at a snobby resturant in Cherry Creek. As a side note: each cart is owned by individual owners so do not think the La Cascada on Peoria is related.
