Libby Neder Photography

I love Libby! We hired Libby and Will to shoot our wedding in Santa Barbara after she photographed my best friends wedding in denver. I loved working with her in denver and loved her and Will even more on our day in SB. They are such a blast to work with — they put my husband at ease during our first look shots, not an easy thing for someone that doesn’t love having their pictures taken. I can’t recommend Libby or her beautiful photos enough!!!

I truly have no idea how Libby has lasted so long on Unilocal with no reviews (look at google reviews if you are looking for more), but I am thrilled to be the one who breaks the dry spell.
My partner and I are from Des Moines, Iowa and we are getting married July of 2016 in Boulder. We are using a nearby venue and while all-​inclusive, we were NOT sold on the venue’s photographer. This guy seemed fine –certainly well used, but cheesy at best. My father and my partners brother are photographers, so we were a little picky.
A quick google search gave me a few local photographers with fairly comparable styles and ability levels. How to choose? I sent out a seriously lengthy email explaining my partner and asking for price quotes.
Libby was the first to respond and the most candid. She was funny, engaging, reassuring, and thoughtful. Her prices were competitive and she cut us a price break for having our wedding on a week day. (Thursday). She also didn’t quibble about hours with us. Her comments on that were that she wouldn’t take another wedding on the same day, so why would she cut us off after 6 hours. She insisted that she would be there with us getting ready and all the way to the end. Whew. We were sold.
Still, being out of towners was nerve wracking. She made sure to set up face time dates with us so that we would ask her questions and get to know her better. We recently road tripped to Boulder for our engagement photos a year out, and she had a few favorites edited and posted on her blog within two days! Libby is awesome. She did an incredible job catching the dynamics of my partners and my relationship, and made us feel gorgeous.
