First and last time here. The staff was absolutely friendly. HOWEVER, the lady who helped me(did not catch her name) was in the middle of my manicure and went and touched up another customers pedicure then came back to me, not ever washing or wiping her hands off in between. Then towards the end she did the same thing and went and worked on a pedicure with gloves but when she came back to finish mine, her gloves were wet from the pedicure sink water. It was so unprofessional and unhygienic. It really grossed me out. I always go to another place and thought I would try this today because of proximity to my house, but I would never go back here.

I live right across from this nail salon and it has always been nice to come and relax. I have been here while I was pregnant and received an awesome pedicure and message. I also brought my daughter of 5 to get her nails done they treated her well gave her the whole treatment and made her feel like a princess! I love this place and will be coming a lot more from now on highly recommend it!!! Also the ladies here are very nice and attentive to their work I have only done white tip but they have so much to offer. Thank you for a nice experience!

I like this little nail salon. The ladies here are really nice and it is always clean. The quality is good and lasts. The salon used to be on my way home from work but I changed jobs and now I go out of my way to come here.

I’ve been going to this location for the past 5 years, the owners changed and for the better! This is the best nail place is Aurora. great and fast service, very reasonable prices. The staff and the owner are all super friendly. They offer multiple services, most importantly they remember who you are when you come back!!!

There were only two girls working on the day that I visited, they were amazing at multitasking and able to get through the long line of ladies waiting. They did a wonderful job on my gel manicure and I will be back.

I’ve been going here for over 2 years now on a regular basis. «Mary» does a wonderful job with my acrylic nails. I can usually wait about 3 weeks before thinking about getting a rebase. My only complaint is, they charge extra if you want to change nail tip color. But for now, as long as Mary continues to work there, I’ll be keeping my business with them.

I was so disappointed after my nail service today. I went in with a friend visiting from out of town and asked to have a shellac manicure and my friend asked to have acrylic nails placed. The first issue was we were not allowed to sit by one another, we were seated about 10 chairs away. I found this strange but ignored it and sat down for my manicure. The technician began my manicure by removing my existing shellac. She was so incredibly rough. Multiple times she filed my skin with the file and after I said, «ouch!» she continued as though nothing was wrong. While my cuticles were being trimmed she cut me and made me bleed and said, «oops, sorry» and continued! My shellac was just plain messy, the polish and clear cover were everywhere when she finished. I asked that it be removed. She said«why?» I clearly pointed out that it looked absolutely terrible. After removing it I said that I would still tip her because she had taken the time to do(a rather horrific) manicure. I asked that she run my card for $ 1 to tip and she proceeded to charge me for the entire shellac manicure! I then explained that she couldn’t do that and that I wanted a refund. She just kept pointing at the receipt telling me to sign it. She didn’t issue a refund and the woman who could issue it, after being asked to, ignored me and then when I asked her if she could please complete the refund she said to «wait». The woman then told me I HAD to pay $ 12 and that she would not give me the full refund because my technician had done a manicure. I showed her my nails and explained that not only was this an extremely poor example of customer service but my nail beds and cuticles were still covered with shellac leftover polish. She said, «I don’t know what to tell you. This is all I can do.» Terrible service, incredibly rough, rude, and absolutely unnecessary. I hope that others can avoid what happened to me today. My friend was appalled as were the few other customers there who witnessed what happened. I will never go back.

I was unimpressed when i went a year or so ago but decided to try again. I Went in for shellac. They were in such a hurry that my nails are a mess. Inconsistent color, bumps all over and she didn’t even clean my nails off when they were done. I could have done a better job had she simply handed me the polish. Pathetic! Not worth the time or money.

This place is under new ownership and I have to say it’s great! The service here is great and the prices can’t be beat. It only costs me $ 15 for shellac that costs $ 30 everywhere else. The pedicures here are great too. Jeanne, the new owner, is great. You’ll know who she is right when you walk in the door. Her favorite color is purple; you can’t miss her. I’ve been here on several occasions alone. However, I once took about 8 of my guy friends in for pedicures. They loved it! The best part was that there was enough staff to fill each one of the 8 pedicure chairs(they are also planning on putting in 2 more). This place is great for large groups, like birthday parties and wedding parties.

The review before this is in 2008 and since then this place has got so much better. I love going to this place as do all of my friends. They do a great job for a great price. The ladies are nice and the salon is very clean. I recommend this place to anyone.

Sorry I didn’t have an exact address, but no need… skip this place. There’s so many nail salons in Aurora, in CO. for that matter, no need to be subjected to sub-par service, bad business practices, or in this case both. I’ve been to Tom Nguyen’s other Magic Nails(Gun Club) 2x, before paying more and going to «real salons», who don’t use dental equipment on your fingers. So why go to the new magic nails if I disliked the other, old one… well, it’s NEW. I got roped in by the new-ness. Girls, you know what I mean. There’s nothing like that feeling being of the first to use nail equipment and sitting in Pedi Chairs. I liked the sunny store front, new huge flat screen blaring Food Network, and the shiny new sinks. I put my feeling aside, and tried the new Iliff Ave location 3 times. The 1st time, Tom himself did my nails, and cut me so bad, I didn’t heal for 3 weeks. 2nd time, I requested my Pedi girl to do my nails – took 2 hours for a fill/pedi. The only«conversation» went like this: Her: Hi Lady. What you want? Me: Regular Pedi and a Fill Her: Deluxe Pedi, yes? Me: Regular Pedi Her: You want cut down? $ 3 extra Me: Cut down feet and hands, nothing else extra today Her: You want Eyebrow wax, yes Me: No Her: You want Design on Nail, yes Me: No Her: You want Acrylic? No good, we have better Me: Acrylic please Her: Your nails old, need new Me: Not today, thanks(just had new ones less then 3 months ago) Her: Design on finger Me: No Her: You pay now… Me: Here is a coupon Her to Tom in Vietnamese: Damn, another one of these coupons… I’ll tack on a few extra bucks to make up for it (I’m paraphrasing, since my Vietnamese is bad) 3 rd Visit Same conversation, only when I presented a coupon(I usually bring a few of theirs since they find a way to weasel out of it), she ripped it up before I could look Her: coupon old… no good Me: came in this month’s Val Pak– I have another one in the car, you want that one Her: yes Me: never mind… just give me the 20% off as your banner states outside your store. The coupon(which is in Val Pak, and on line) has the price as $ 29 before extras, I was charged $ 34 before extras, so much for 20% off. As a side note, I went the same time/day of week each of the 3 times. Over the course of 6 weeks, I noticed fewer and fewer employees in the salon, as well as fewer patrons. The 1st time, it was bustling, second time, I was one of 4 people, and one came in to complain about her prior experience. 3rd time, me and another women. Hey Tom, you think your nickle and dimming is working for you? Thankfully I’ve found Top Ten Nails, where the price is the price. The owner walks around making small talk, and asking if all is good. I like that.
