Went to Massage Envy at Southlands while visiting family in Aurora. I am a monthly membership holder in CA. My therapist was Carolyn Wahl and she was fantastic! She targeted the key areas that I needed addressed with great pressure. She was attentive to my needs and gave me a wonderful, relaxing massage!

My mom signed me up for their monthly contract, I had two awesome ladies seeing me, Glendyne and Leilani. I always feel better after seeing them and always look forward to going back. The membership is over now and I couldn’t renew it because I just can’t commit to paying $ 60EVERY month. I hope I’ll be able to get back on it, because it was truly a great experience!

The therapists are great but the front desk is a joke. They lost my paperwork after 1 week so they asked me to fill it out again and I got shorted on my massage. It took three times before they actually changed my name from my maiden name to married. They charged me for a massage after I asked them to use one of my prepaid. I think Nicole is the biggest problem but have never had a great experience with the front desk. Customer service is not their strong suit. The don’t have a relaxation room like most massage envy’s either. Find a different location!

I went to a few Massage Envy spas before I eventually switched to Hand and Stone. My general oppinion is that their system is very corporate and based on volume and sales rather than service. Everyone is called by name but they really are just another transaction and all the friendly politeness is part of a scripted recipe for a few minutes of relaxation followed by a swift sales pitch. The therapists are educated, love what they do, and the services are relaxing, but as soon as you step back in to the crowded lobby and get thrown a high pressure rehearsed sales pitch, you leave only slightly less stressed then when you came in.

DONOTSIGN A 12MONTHCONTRACT. They lie to you that it’s not a contract and you can get out whenever you want they are scamming you. You have to move or get a doctors note. I REPEATDONOTSIGN A CONTRACT. I feel so used and once my year is up I am out never going back.

Went for a massage and the therapist seemed inexperienced. She leaned on me heavily as she did my massage. Was not happy at all and did not appreciate being escorted to a waiting area so they could try to sell me a membership contract. I would not have signed a contract for a massage experience like that!!!

I got a prenatal massage here. The massage was pretty good, no complaints. The biggest thing is that this place is right next to a Subway and it smells strongly of subway bread. Maybe it was my pregnant nose, but it was overwhelming. For some this may be a good thing… But it was kind of odd. Otherwise, I was happy with my massage. However, I will probably try out another location next time that smells a little less like bread.

This Massage Envy is closest to where I live, but the service there is mediocre at best. The therapists who do deep tissue massage could use more practice and the front desk staff could use better manners! They also never respond to online requests for appointments. I will stick to the location by my work rather than visit this one.

I have been a member for a few years and have had great experiences. The massage therapists have been fine. The front desk personnel are not friendly, and do not demonstrate good customer service at all. I do feel that they end the massages early, as an previous post indicated. If it is a 75-minute massage they need to note that. I live very close to this location, but have been going to the Cherry Creek location and I like it much better.

This is the Massage Envy that’s closest to me. I’ve had a massage at the Lakewood Massage Envy and decided after a couple of days to get their membership plan, and made this one my «home clinic.» Clean place and friendly, welcoming staff. I always feel relaxed during my massage. The therapist I usually see normally does deep massages, and she uses a couple of warm towels during the massage, and it feels great.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had with a massage. The receptionist recommended a certain therapist for deep tissue«she’s the best, a 3 out of 3». And I swear the massage I got, even after telling her to go deeper, was more like a swedish. There was nothing to really like about the experience, so I’ll just go down the list of cons: 1) Felt like a swedish massage, which was not what I needed 2) If you’ve never been there before a 60 minute massage is $ 39 and a 90 minute is $ 57. I opted for the 90 minute. She built in 5 minutes in the front for me to get undressed and ended it 10 minutes early for me to get dressed, so it was MAYBE75 minutes. 3) It was absoutely freezing in there. It’s 30 degrees outside and I swear I felt cold air on me. 4) When I checked out I got the hard sell for their monthly massage club. No thanks. 5) My neck hurts just as much after the massage as before. I will never go back here.

COnvenient location and very friendly staff. I explained over the phone that I was looking for a deep tissue massage and the receptionist not only got me in that same day, but she suggested a great therapist for me. I was very satisfied with the entire staff there and I will certainly go back there when I’m in town.
