We hired Brian to install plumbing in two separate bathrooms in our house that were being remodeled. He was there after the spaces were demo’d to install everything, and came back after the tile work, etc was completed in order to install fixtures and finish the job. At that point, he realized that he had installed the wrong valve in one of the showers. We had guests coming in the next day, so he put a temp tub spout in place for them to use the shower, and we agreed that after our guests left he could come back and install a different tub spout that fit the incorrect valve he installed, versus the tub spout we had ordered that matched the rest of the fixtures.
We’ve now been waiting a month to hear back from him. Our fault that we had paid him the day the work was supposed to be completed, so he took our money and left the project unfinished. So after being patient and flexible with finding a solution to the problem he caused, we’ll now have to purchase a new tub spout, and hire another plumber to fix what he messed up.
