Preggos Maternity

I set up an appointment to sell my high end maternity clothes from Isabella Oliver for this past Monday. I showed up for my scheduled appointment with Yolanda and they are closed. I made the appointment for Monday because I am coming from the city and was heading out to the burbs for a doctors appointment so I would have been half way there. What a waste of time. I left a message on their voice mail and never received a call back. Two days later, I called and spoke to Yolanda again. She told me my appointment was for Wednesday at 10:30AM — I told her today was Wednesday and 12:45PM so clearly I was not at the appointment. She is clueless on running a business, needs to respect other peoples time, and talks over you and then eventually hung up. Now, that’s what I call classy and professional.

The stores itself is cute and seems to have a nice selection of clothes. I called to see what the procedure was to sell clothes and the owner told me one thing on the phone and did something else when I was in store. The whole thing was very odd and confusing. She offered $ 24 to buy four pair of very nice jeans, a pair of shorts and two shirts. That seemed very low compared to other places and when I declined her offer she got mad and threw the clothes back in the bag. I won’t return.

My experience with Preggos Maternity was great in the beginning. I like the concept of the store cause who likes to spend tons of money on maternity clothes when your only going to wear them for 9 months. The selection was good and the prices were reasonable. The owner was helpful every time I shopped. I was a satisfied customer. Unfortunately my most recent experience and ultimately my last was when I dropped off a huge storage tote container of maternity clothes I wanted to sell. The owner had me drop it off and leave it so she could browse through my items and then call me to come pick up a later day. I received a call about two days later from the owner that she had selected a few items of mine and to pick up my storage container with the items she did not select. During that same phone call for pick up the owner nor did I discuss how many items were selected or how much my offer was. I showed up at the store the next day to pick up and that is when the owner told me my offer was $ 24.50. I asked how many items did you select and she told me 12. I was in shock. Knowing how much I originally paid for those clothes and knowing how many clothes she selected I declined her offer. I told her I could get more money for them selling them on my own. Little did I know she had already put all my selected items on her sales floor. The owner allowed me to decline her offer but I would have to remember and find my items that were now all throughout the store. I told the owner I wish she wouldn’t have done anything with my items until we came to an agreement. Holding my frustrations in I calmly started to look for my items. I gathered what I thought was everything of mine and left as quick as possible cause I was so upset. The owner told me none of her customers have ever declined her offers and that is why she figured she could put them out for sale. I drove a few miles down the street and decided to pull over and Check that I actually had all my clothes back. Turns out I was missing a shirt. I went back to look for the shirt and couldn’t find it but while looking for it i found one of my dresses. Thankfully I took photos of all my maternity clothes so I could sell them on my own and figured out a day later that I was still missing another shirt. So in the end… the owner was not up front with me on how many items she selected, she put all my items on her sales floor before we came to an agreement, and her offer was unacceptable. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Went here about a week ago. Not a big selection of clothes. Small store. I scheduled a pick up for this morning for a huge bag of maternity clothes I wanted to sell. No one ever came. Left a message. No call back. There goes my business. I’ll go to clothes mentor for a better selection and customer service any day.

The store had a good variety of gently used maternity clothing, bras, support belts, etc. The items were very fashionable and The prices were very reasonable. The owner was very knowledgable and helpful with picking out the clothing as well. I will be excited to go back to pick up some more stuff. She also, gave me a discount of 10% off for my next purchase.

I just found this gem the other day and I can’t wait to go back! Preggos is a maternity resale shop! I’ve been looking for maternity clothes for cheap and this is the perfect place! Their prices are higher than the goodwill, but they have a much better selection to choose from and the quality is much better too! They do have a changing room so you can make sure everything fits! I got a jean skirt and top, both old navy maternity, for $ 12 each. They looked brand new! They will also buy your maternity clothes from you!!! A must visit for sure! Oh and they gave me a $ 10 voucher for my next trip!

Such a great idea for a business! Maternity clothes are so expensive, and with the added pressure of a new baby coming soon, you definitely want to think of some other ways to save money. The owner was so helpful, kind and energetic. The store was very well-​kept and organized. She assisted in picking out styles and sizes– almost like a personal stylist! My only drawback was she made me feel a little bit uncomfortable by stating over and over to return the clothes when I was done, and stated, «you’re going to bring my clothes back right? (Giggle)» I know it’s got to be hard to find/​keep inventory, but as a paying customer I want to leave feeling like the clothes I purchased are mine and not borrowed. Highly recommended though!

The store was clean and organized, and all the clothing was fashionable and well kept. The pricing was very affordable, and there was a range of a few seasons worth of clothes as well! The associate who helped me was very polite and knowledgeable about her product, and made me feel really special and pretty. Definitely beats shopping at other retail stores due to range of styles and affordability!
