You know how to spell Customer Service… Pro CAM Knowledgeable people… Pro Cam Makes an investment in «YOU» the customer… Pro Cam Reading it is one thing but experience it, you won’t go any where else. Classes, work shops, dealer demos, PPA membership drives. You want to learn something new, suggest it to the staff. They make you feel like family, so you want to go back, if not for more gear then to have a free hot dog, and shoot the breeze about photography.

The store is amazing. They have everything you could possibly want under one roof. The employees have been so helpful and always ready to answer every question. I recognize some of the employees from the former store and I can say they all know their stuff. So happy to have a camera store close to home. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.

Ok so yesterday I decided to drive up to Aurora and visit my friend Bill Skinner at PROCAM*Chicago Fox Valley had never been there. I kinda dreaded the 40mn drive but, google map told me it was a direct line taking highway 55 with a couple of right and left turns towards the end of it. So I get there and suddenly feel like a kid in a candy store! Stuff, I can see and touch, the entire line of bodies and lenses from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Tamron, Lumix(Ok – my opinion they should drop Lumix and pick up Fuji-but that’s just my opinion)… bags, studio lighting and more than just one sample to touch and play with… all sorts of accessories, tripods, stands, C-stands… I was really and truly surprised that I had never been there. If you are looking for something, take the drive to Procam – it is really worth it Did I mention the studio rental? OMG… professional level studio-We think we can fit a Smart Car or a Fiat 500C through the doors… Someone should try it. Anyhow, needless to say my trip was not a waste. I got a gift certificate from Bill – always something to give! Thanks Bill — I really enjoyed visiting and I know I will come again.

Great knowledgeable staff. Good Inventory of gear. Customer focused service as opposed to trying to upsell you on the latest gear. I am extremely happy to have their store in the fox valley area. I highly recommend you give it a visit.

Cool Store. They have just about everything I need to get the job done for my pictures and are completely willing to answer questions or hear your comments. I guess the only downside is they don’t ALWAYS have everything right away, but who does? I’ve known the staff for many years even before PRO-CAM came to Chicagoland, and they know me by name. Some were from Wolf, Ritz and Calumet. Need a new camera or lens and stuff, Check this place out. you won’t regret it.

These guys are the best. Great store. They have everything you need for beginner or pro shooters. I purchased a lens there last week that had a small issue. I took it back this morning and they gave me a brand new one, no problems. They also have studio space in the back with green screen and all for rent. For sure go visit them!

I’m glad this store opened here. I got a great deal off the bat with a Canon Pro-10. These guys are seasoned pros with some of them from the now defunct Calumet of Oak Brook. I’m glad to see these guys again.

It is nice to have another camera store in the Chicago area. I have been buying just about all my gear online because of the price and convenience of delivery to my door. However, there are the downsides of waiting for shipping and not getting to see an item in-person before purchase. Procam Chicago is located in a former Wolf Camera store. Upon walking into the store, I was surprised by how spacious the layout was. The store looked a little spartan in terms of merchandise. It had only been open for about a month, so it’s possible everything isn’t set up yet. One of the employees told me they will eventually have a studio available for rental and will host seminars, so the store as I saw it is not the final arrangement. I like having room to walk around, so hopefully the store won’t become too cluttered. I find the Calumet store in Oak Brook claustrophobic. My first impression was that there wouldn’t be much to look at, but I was wrong. There is a good variety of products. Lots of bags and cases. A lot of tripods and light stands. There were BlackRapid camera straps. There were backdrops. There were several racks of microphone and audio cables. Procam buys and sells used gear, and they have gear available for rental as well. Pricing looked fair. The items I looked at had pricing on-par with what I have seen at B&H’s website. I look forward to the store developing, and will take Procam into consideration when shopping for photography gear.
